On the third day after midnight, Xie Yunshu got the data on the drawings sorted out, and went to see Professor Li during class.
Professor Li is a professor of the Department of Architecture at Haicheng University. He teaches at night for the country's training, but there are not many students majoring in architectural design. Many of them are like Ji Siyuan, who either did not take the college entrance examination and were sent here by their families, or have already started working to improve their academic qualifications.
There are more men among them, and the age gap is quite large, some in their forties and fifties and some in their twenties. A young girl like Xie Yunshu stands out particularly.
However, Xie Yunshu came to study with a letter of introduction from Shen Subai, so Professor Li paid more attention to her. He didn't expect that this girl would come to him with the drawings after only three days of class.
He adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, a little unconvinced: "Did you draw this yourself?"
In order to better extract the information from the drawing, Xie Yunshu re-drew Li Shengli's drawing according to the proportions. She was a little nervous when she heard Professor Li's question, but she handed over the notebook with courage: "This is the data I sorted out. Professor Li, can you help me see if there is any mistake?"
She couldn't wait to draw the blueprints before she even finished the basic course. To Professor Li, this was undoubtedly a case of wanting to run before learning to walk, being impatient for quick results and blindly self-centered.
The other party was a young girl. She didn't say anything unpleasant, but her face was slightly gloomy. "The data in the architectural drawings cannot tolerate any mistakes. If you really want to learn, you should learn the basics first."
If you were a thin-skinned person, you would have gone there with a red face and holding the blueprint.
But Xie Yunshu didn't leave. She knew that Professor Li had no ill intentions. When teaching students knowledge, he naturally hoped that the students would make steady progress. She came to ask about the drawings because she wanted to ask for help.
So she spread out the drawings and notebooks on the table and said, "Professor Li, then you can test me on basic knowledge points. If I get one wrong, I will take the drawings back immediately."
This time it was Professor Li's turn to be stunned. Was this girl too confident?
Seeing that Xie Yunshu didn't dodge or evade her gaze, but looked at him calmly, Professor Li's expression eased a little, and he wanted to teach her a lesson, starting with a point of knowledge that she hadn't learned yet: "The main difference between the frame structure and the shear wall structure in the building structure."
Xie Yunshu answered without thinking: "The frame structure is mainly a load-bearing system composed of beams, columns and other components. The spatial layout is relatively flexible, but the lateral rigidity is relatively small..."
Professor Li was a little surprised and continued to ask her: "In architectural design, how do you consider the lighting and ventilation of a building?"
Xie Yunshu was not in a hurry: "In terms of lighting, it depends on factors such as the building's location, orientation, and surrounding environment..."
After asking several questions in succession, Xie Yunshu answered all of them verbatim. The other teachers in the office looked at her differently.
Professor Li finally smiled: "I haven't learned these things yet, how do you know?"
Xie Yunshu was a little embarrassed: "I like this and often go to Xinhua Bookstore to read books."
The bell for the second class rang, and Professor Li finally brought the drawings over: "I'll take a look at it tomorrow."
After returning to his seat, Ji Siyuan came over and asked, "Where have you been?"
Ji Siyuan didn't sleep today, but sat in his seat and listened to the class honestly. He had been thinking about chatting with Xie Yunshu after class, but he couldn't find him after class.
Xie Yunshu glanced at him and said, "Don't disturb me while I'm studying."
Ji Siyuan is a bit cheerful, and he is the same age as Xie Yunshu. Perhaps because he is too well protected by his family, he speaks like a child who has not grown up. Hearing Xie Yunshu's words, he was not angry, but secretly slipped a note over: "What are we having in the cafeteria tomorrow?"
Xie Yunshu simply pretended not to see it and continued listening to the class.
Ji Siyuan felt bored and lowered his head to draw on the notebook. After a while, the outline of a girl appeared on the white paper. She had a small face, big eyes and long hair. She looked almost like Xie Yunshu.
Always treat it as if it's after school, and bring it to me like a treasure: "Is it beautiful?"
Xie Yunshu was surprised, but frowned again: "You don't go to class, but just sit there and draw? Then why don't you apply to the art department, and waste your time here?"
Ji Siyuan shrugged his shoulders and followed her with his bag. "Why are you talking like my brother? Do you think I want to come? My brother said that since I like painting, I might as well draw architectural drawings. I can inherit the family business in the future."
Xie Yunshu was a little speechless: "Then why are you still drawing portraits?"
Ji Siyuan stuffed the painting into her hands and said, "Keep it. If I become a famous painter in the future, this might be priceless."
Xie Yunshu looked down and saw her name written on the back of the painting. She subconsciously looked sideways and found that Ji Siyuan and Ji Si'an did not look alike. Although they both had the delicate looks of the south, Ji Siyuan had more raised eyes, which made him more flamboyant than her brother's shrewdness and restraint.
Especially the two crimson teardrop moles side by side at the corners of the eyes, which always gave Xie Yunshu a sense of déjà vu, but she was sure that she had never seen Ji Siyuan before. After all, his family was a young man from Pengcheng, which was more than a thousand kilometers away from Haicheng!
"Then I'll wait to make money from selling it." Xie Yunshu wanted to go back and read some more, so he put the painting in his bag and rode away on his bicycle.
Ji Siyuan touched the tip of her nose. She hadn't yet evaluated the quality of her painting.
When I returned to the tube building, Xie Mingcheng had just finished school. He held a textbook in his hand and asked casually, "Sister, how about studying at night?"
Xie Yunshu felt good: "Very good."
Li Fenlan was more concerned about his problem: "Yunshu, how are you getting along with your classmates? I hope they don't bully you. What is your new deskmate like?"
Most of the students in the night school are boys, and they are all from the society. Although her daughter looks powerful, she is only a girl in her early twenties after all. It is no wonder that Li Fenlan is more worried.
Xie Yunshu laughed: "We all go there to study, who would bully me for nothing? Besides, am I so easy to bully?"
After that, he put the portrait that Ji Siyuan drew for himself on the table: "My deskmate is just a kid, easy to get along with. He drew this for me today!"
Li Fenlan came over to take a look, with a smile in her eyes: "It's really well drawn, but why are there two more moles at the corners of the eyes?"
Xie Yunshu didn't even look at the painting. Hearing that, he frowned and looked at it: "You have a mole on yourself, so you draw a mole on me?"
Li Fenlan took another look with a smile: "I guess you remembered it wrong, but these two moles are exactly the same as the ones on Xiaowei's face, even the positions are the same..."
Xiaowei?
Xie Yunshu was stunned for a moment, and suddenly understood why she felt that Ji Siyuan looked familiar, because his eyes were exactly the same as Xiaowei's, with raised corners and two red moles side by side under his eyes...
