"What is it?" Qin Wenhuo asked as he walked over.
When he looked in the direction his son was pointing, he found it was a computer tower.
After all, he holds a fairly high position now and isn't exactly ignorant.
"What's this metal box for?" Fu's mother asked her son-in-law curiously.
Just as Qin Wenhuo was about to explain, Fu Mingxue's voice came through: "Mom, didn't I just tell you? This is a computer. I bought it from the school."
"Computer? Electricity and brain? What kind of new gadget is this? Is this metal box alive?" Fu's mother didn't understand.
She had only ever heard of human brains, fish brains, and chicken heads—she had never heard of this metal box possibly having a brain.
Fu Mingxue's lips twitched slightly when she heard her words.
What is electricity and what is a brain?
That doesn't make sense.
"Qin Wenhuo, bring the main unit down!"
Qin Wenhuo immediately unloaded the main unit from the car.
Fu Mingxue closed the car door.
The group returned to the courtyard together.
"Where should we put this?" Qin Wenhuo asked.
Fu Mingxue pointed with her finger, "Let's put this in our room!"
Qin Wenhuo immediately moved the main unit into the house.
When Mrs. Fu didn't see the strange-looking television in the main room, she knew it was bought to be used in their own room.
That's true, too.
They're home now, so it's normal to have a TV in the house, since the couple can watch TV in their own room after they get home.
"How much did your TV cost? Why don't you buy a bigger color TV?"
That one looks like it's only 14 inches!
It's not like her family can't afford a bigger color TV now.
Fu Mingxue was both amused and exasperated. "Mom, didn't I just say that's a computer? The one about the size of a TV is the computer monitor, and the other one that Qin Wenhuo brought in is the computer host. The two need to be connected to work."
"Also, I'm not using this to watch TV, I'm using it for work."
Fu's mother didn't understand.
Since her daughter said it was for work, she stopped asking around.
After all, she knew to some extent that her daughter's job was something that had to be kept secret.
"Then you guys go ahead with your work, I'm going to cook."
