Chapter 212: Youth and Strength (1/2)

"Mom, I'll pick it up anywhere I can," the third child said with a look of disbelief.

Wu Zhiqiu laughed in his heart. See, no one believed the truth. "If there are more, it's your turn to pick them up. I can't pick them up myself."

"Grandpa, if you don't want to sue me, then forget it. Even if you don't tell me, you can't tell the eldest and the second oldest either! I'm your most beloved son!" The third oldest was like a little child. If he didn't know, the eldest and the second oldest wouldn't know either.

"Believe it or not, you have picked up gold. I told you, but you just don't believe it!" Wu Zhiqiu took his feet out of the basin.

The third child hurriedly and attentively wiped his mother's feet and poured water for washing her feet. Then he sat in the yard and wondered what his mother had said. Did she really pick up gold? Otherwise, he really couldn't explain where the money in the family came from.

Fengchun has been studying hard these days, reading and doing exercises until midnight. If she fails to get into college, it will be over. Her future is bleak! She dares not to quit doing housework, for fear that she will be kicked out now.

Watching the third child coming out of his mother's room, the "flatterer" Fengchun muttered to herself that he was the most favored one in the family now, as they bought him two shops and let him do business. Zhao Na said that the clothes were selling very fast, and the third child got huge benefits by flattering his mother.

Fengchun wanted to flatter her parents, but they didn't give her a good face, so she didn't dare to get close to them. She sighed and could only study hard, but what would it matter if she got into college? Look at Li Xingan, he has a shop and makes so much money, even if she went to college, she couldn't compare to him.

Her elder brother is the best example now. That salary is not even enough for Li Xingan to make ends meet!

I still have to find a way to have a good relationship with my parents. It would be great if I could be like Li Xingan.

My parents are partial. They used to favor my eldest brother, and he could do whatever he wanted. Now they favor Li Xingan, and give him everything in the house. After all, she is a girl and is not looked down upon.

The next morning, Wu Zhiqiu did not go to work. He sent Dabao and Erbao to school, and then quietly went to Fenglan's place.

Fenglan went to work, Manman went to school, Wu Zhiqiu carefully took out a few gold bars, put them in the rag bag he brought with him, and started walking around the city. After a day, he exchanged another 40,000 yuan and delivered it to Wu Huaiqing in the evening.

Second sister-in-law Zhao Chunmei was very enthusiastic. Daya and a few other girls were also at home. Wu Huaiqing was going to take his two sons-in-law who did not have formal jobs to learn how to drive.

It takes people to open a cargo station, and since I have many children at home, I can have someone to do it.

Wu Zhiqiu gave 30,000 yuan to his second brother and was about to go home.

Zhao Chunmei held her back and refused to let her go, insisting that she stay for dinner.

"Second sister-in-law, Dabao and Erbao are still waiting for me to pick them up. I'll come over when the children are on vacation."

"Look at you, you should have brought the child with you when you came!" Zhao Chunmei scolded.

"Why are you being so polite? We are all family. Zhiqiu, go pick up the kids!" Wu Huaiqing couldn't stand the two of them arguing with each other. They were not outsiders, so why were they teasing them?

Zhao Chunmei glared at her husband and said, "Zhiqiu, if you don't have time, bring the child here!"

"Okay, second sister-in-law, I'll go back first." Wu Zhiqiu still felt more comfortable before, but now his second sister-in-law was too enthusiastic.

When she rushed back to school, Dabao and Erbao were taken back by the third child.

The third brother thought that Wu Zhiqiu had to give money to his second uncle today and might be home late, so he went to the school early to pick up Dabao and Erbao. He is his mother's most beloved son and he has to consider his mother in everything.

Wu Zhiqiu went home and saw his two children drawing in the room. He touched their heads and asked, "Have you eaten?"

"Grandma, we have eaten. Our second uncle brought us and great grandfather some steamed dumplings. The ones with mutton filling are so delicious! They are even packed for you. I'll go get them for you." Dabao understood that he was going to get food for Wu Zhiqiu.
