Chapter 641 Returning Home 3 (2/2)

"Well, give me some candies and cakes, and two boxes of cigarettes for each family." My younger brother is doing well in the outside world, so he must be more respectful when he comes here.

The old man asked Mancang to divide it into five parts and gave one part to Uncle Tiedan.

"They are all good things, thank you, nephew."

"Uncle Tiedan, it's just a snack, why be polite?" Mancang followed the three old men and strolled around the village. He gave a few pieces of candy to the children he saw. Soon everyone in the village knew that the leftover dog that had been missing from the old man's family for decades had returned.

I went to see my old brothers, and they all took the old man to their homes for dinner. We hadn't seen each other for so many years, and we couldn't talk enough.

Uncle Tiedan helped to block it, saying that if anyone else wanted to eat at his house today, they had to queue up.

The old man's eyes were red all morning. Seeing his playmates and relatives from decades ago, he felt excited and happy, but also a little sad, because many of them were no longer with him.

It was noon when they came out of the house. Uncle asked us to go home first to see what was cooking. If they had cooked, we could go home and eat, and then go to Uncle Tiedan's house for dinner.

"Brother, look at you, you have already cooked it at noon. It's such a hot day. If you leave it out at night, it will go bad. Let's go and eat it quickly. Hurry up and eat it." Uncle Tiedan pulled the old man. Goushengzi obviously listened to his brother and decided to deal with this stubborn old man first.

Uncle was not sure if the family had cooked yet. "Then let's go and tell them, so they don't have to wait."

A few people returned home, and the house was still quiet. The people working in the fields had come in one after another, not to mention that they had guests at home. No one had come in for such a long time.

"Da Shuang, Er Shuang?" The old man's two sons called out to Da Shuang and Er Shuang. The old man shouted in the front and back yards, but there was no response.

"Mancang, take some meat and a few bottles of wine and go with your uncle Tiedan first. We will go over later." The old man asked Uncle Tiedan and Mancang to go first, and their family would wait.

"You can't take things. You come to my house to eat, and you still take things. Aren't you embarrassing me? We don't have any bad food at home, but we have rotten food. Guests should follow the host's wishes and not be picky." Uncle Tiedan dragged Mancang out of the yard and didn't let him take anything.

The old man gestured to Mancang to take it first and he would come over to get it later.

The two men were separated, and the two brothers were separated in the yard.

"Brother, let's go visit our parents' graves tomorrow."

"Okay, my parents will be relieved to see that you have made progress."

The two brothers were silent.

"I'm sorry, Lao Er, you came all the way here, but you have to eat at someone else's place for your first meal."

"Brother, what are you talking about? I just came to see you. Your health is better than anything else. You live on your own before, and everything will be fine when I come. I'm not here to see someone else." The old man comforted the eldest brother. How could there be any feelings between uncle and nephew that they had never met? The other party had no feelings for him, and he had no feelings for them. To put it bluntly, he just came to see if his eldest brother was still alive.

"Second brother, you are right. At our age, we see each other less and less, so we shouldn't care about others." The uncle felt upset.

There was movement at the main gate, and several men carrying hoes entered the yard.

"Oh, this must be our second uncle. He looks exactly like our father," a tanned woman said cheerfully.

"This is my eldest daughter-in-law, Zheng Yue'e, that's my son Dashuang, that's my second daughter-in-law Xu Guihua, my youngest grandson Bin, and my two other grandsons have moved out after getting married. This is your second uncle," the uncle introduced calmly.

"Second Uncle"

"Second Grandfather"

Several people greeted the old man and looked him in the eye. The old man was wearing ordinary black trousers, an old man's shirt, and cloth shoes. It was convenient and comfortable for riding in a car. His clothes were more fashionable than those of the villagers, but not much outstanding.

The old man nodded to them.
