Chapter 871 Not Destined to Get Rich (2/2)

The third brother and Su Mo drove to the Su family home. The three children were picked up from school by Su Mo's parents today.

The couple didn't go upstairs; they waited downstairs for their three children to come down.

"Mom and Dad, why are you taking so long? I was about to fall asleep," Yuanyuan said with dissatisfaction as she got into the car.

Third child: "Did your grandpa tutor you again?"

"My grandma also gave me a supplement, but she didn't let me eat my fill. I'm never coming here again," Yuanyuan muttered in dissatisfaction.

"I'm not coming either. Grandpa and Grandma are so biased. They treat Tuantuan better than me and Yuanyuan," Youyou said, also dissatisfied.

Su Mo: "Don't talk nonsense, Grandma and Grandpa treat you all the same."

“I’m not talking nonsense. My grandpa said that all his future assets will be Tuan Tuan’s because his surname is Su,” Youyou said, unconvinced.

“My sister and I don’t care. My grandparents have plenty of money, much more than my maternal grandfather’s family. They don’t give my older brother any of their money either, because he’s not surnamed Li,” Yuanyuan said indignantly. “They always say I’m stupid. I’m never coming here again. If you make me come again, I’ll go live with my grandma.”

The third brother glanced at Su Mo and said, "Your parents are trying to sow discord among the children."

Su Mo glared at the third child. "Grandma and Grandpa are joking. You are all their grandchildren, you are all the same."

"It's different! When we eat, all the good food is put in front of Tuantuan, and when she does her homework, we keep praising her. Who told her to be surnamed Su? We surnamed Li are inferior to her." Youyou's little mouth was so sharp, she didn't give Su Mo any face at all.

Tuan Tuan kept her head down and didn't say a word.

Su Mo felt a headache coming on. "Tomorrow I'll ask your grandparents. If it's really like what you're saying, can we ask them to change it?"

"Change it or not, I'm not coming anymore, Dad. I'm going to stay with my grandma tomorrow. This house can't accommodate me anymore." Yuanyuan took the opportunity to make a request. Going to her grandparents' house would mean she wouldn't be forced to study.

"Your grandparents find you annoying, you should just stay home," the third son refused outright. If this kid gave up, things would be even worse.

"My grandparents wouldn't do that. I'm their beloved grandson. They haven't seen me for days, and they must be missing me so much they can't sleep," Yuanyuan told herself, convinced that she should go to her grandparents' house right now.

The third brother sighed, as if he were seeing himself as a child, and the sigh was exactly the same as his.

"Mom and Dad, I don't want to have the surname Su anymore," Tuantuan, who hadn't spoken until now, suddenly said.

The third brother slammed on the brakes and pulled the car over to the side of the road. Su Mo looked at Tuan Tuan and asked, "Why do you say that?"

“My older sister and younger brother both have the surname Li. I want to be like them, otherwise I feel like I’m not part of their family.” Tuantuan has always been very opinionated, unlike Yuanyuan who is carefree and says whatever comes to mind.

"You don't like taking your mother's surname?" Su Mo asked.

"I want to be like my older sister and younger brother. My classmates all think that the older sister and younger brother are the real family. I feel that my grandparents always treat me differently, and I feel a lot of pressure," Tuantuan said earnestly.

“You are all your parents’ children. You have your mother’s surname and they have your father’s surname. It doesn’t affect the fact that we are a family. If your maternal grandparents have done anything wrong, can I talk to them?” Su Mo did not expect that a surname would cause such a big problem for the children.
