Chapter 60 My Heart Has Gone Wild

Chapter 60 My Heart Has Gone Wild

Yao Mingzhu had already dialed the number, the phone pressed against her ear, her fingers gripping the device tightly.

The phone rang twice before being answered quickly, with a slightly hoarse male voice coming through.

She skipped the small talk and went straight to the point.

"Where are you? Come to Shufen's house right now, something's happened! Really, don't ask so many questions, just come quickly!"

"Huh? What happened?"

Upon hearing this, Guo Zhenyi's heart immediately clenched.

He was sitting in a chair with his legs crossed, drinking water, when he suddenly stood up, almost knocking over his cup.

He knew that Zhou Shufen had some trouble with her ex-husband recently and was afraid that something might happen.

So the moment I hear the word "something happened," my nerves tense up instantly.

"Stop asking, hurry up and come here! Her ex-husband is here and won't leave, he's making a scene!"

As Yao Mingzhu spoke, she glared at Zhou Dajun.

She didn't want to waste time explaining.

The most important thing right now is to get someone there as soon as possible and get rid of this plague.

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.

After all, matters between men and women are too complicated, and it's easy to get into trouble if you're not careful.

But just a few seconds later, a crisp and clear response came.

"Okay, I'll be right there."

His tone was firm, without the slightest hesitation.

Although Guo Zhenyi hesitated for a moment, he immediately made up his mind to rush over when he thought of Zhou Shufen being alone at home with her ex-husband in a dangerous situation.

Although Zhou Dajun could only hear her speaking, he could only catch snippets of her words.

But with his years of experience on the streets, he listened carefully and managed to hear most of it.

He understood immediately.

She went to call someone, and it was a man she called.

This completely shattered his pride.

He was actually quite tempted when he saw Yao Mingzhu walk in.

The woman was well-dressed, her beige trench coat accentuating her slender figure, and her makeup was exquisite.

He was immediately captivated, and a few thoughts quietly raced through his mind.

I was thinking that if I could strike up a conversation, maybe there would be some future development.

But now?

Forget about having thoughts about her, I feel disgusted just looking at her.

"So it was all your doing? You've made them all so wild!"

He suddenly reached out and pointed directly at Yao Mingzhu, his arm straight and his fingers trembling.

It was as if Zhou Shufen's refusal to remarry or turn back was all because of her.

In his eyes, Yao Mingzhu was the "third party" who destroyed his family.

Even if she was just a friend, he still insisted on labeling her that way.

"You're insulting me? Who do you think you are?"

Yao Mingzhu sneered and raised the corners of her mouth.

She's not the kind of person who gets intimidated, and she certainly won't bow down to a scoundrel.

"I'm her husband! If you hadn't interfered, would she have refused to remarry me?"

Zhou Dajun suddenly stood up and pushed aside the coffee table in front of him.

He straightened his neck and his eyes widened.

In his view, as long as he reveals his identity as "husband", it will be fine.

Others should shut up and make way.

But he forgot that the divorce certificate had been issued long ago, and legally he was no longer her husband.

Yao Mingzhu almost burst out laughing, then shook her head.

"Now I understand. No wonder Zhou Shufen insisted on a divorce. Who could stand living with someone like you? You're stupid and arrogant, completely unreasonable, and a complete menace! You think you can scare people by yelling? Let me tell you, these days, nobody falls for your tricks!"

"What's wrong with me? Even if I'm not the best, I'm still better than her! She's a wicked woman who doesn't live up to her virtues. In ancient times, she would have been tied up and thrown into the river!"

Zhou Dajun was so angry that his face twisted in rage, and the veins on his temples throbbed.

His finger trembled as he pointed at Zhou Shufen, his eyes bloodshot.

He became more and more agitated as he spoke, and even his breathing became rapid.

"What utter nonsense are you spouting!"

Zhou Shufen finally couldn't hold back anymore and yelled at him.

"Is your mouth for eating or for pooping? Why does your spit smell so bad!"

She stared intently at Zhou Dajun, her eyes filled with contempt and anger.

"Did I say something wrong? She's running off with someone else, what else could she be but a bad woman!"

Zhou Dajun's voice was hoarse from shouting, and spittle flew out with every word he spoke.

His emotions were completely out of control; his voice was so hoarse it was almost unrecognizable, and veins were bulging on his face.

Even its neck had turned purplish-red, making it look both ridiculous and ferocious.

Alright, I've said enough, there's no need to waste any more words.

Zhou Shufen glared at him fiercely.

She clenched her teeth, her lips pressed into a cold line.

He immediately turned around and rushed into the toilet without hesitation.

She grabbed the toilet suction cup, tested it a couple of times in the air, found it felt good, and immediately rushed into the living room, pointing it directly at Zhou Dajun's head.

"Get out! Get out of here now, or I'll use this to clean your teeth!"

The black rubber suction cup felt heavy in her hand, and the wooden handle fit perfectly in her palm.

She swung her arms twice and heard the whooshing sound of wind breaking through the air, which immediately gave her a sense of confidence.

She strode into the living room, stood in front of Zhou Dajun, raised her arm high, the suction cup's round opening facing his face, her eyes sharp.

"I'm not leaving. Why would I leave? I'm staying here."

Zhou Dajun stood with his neck stiff and chin up, looking completely self-righteous.

He stood with his arms crossed over his chest and his feet apart.

His body was rooted to the spot like an iron plate.

His tone was forceful, his eyes disdainful, and there was even a hint of mocking sneer on his lips.

Zhou Dajun is like a patch of psoriasis.

Once it's stuck to you, you can't peel it off no matter what you do.

He stood motionless, even as Zhou Shufen waved her suction cups and approached.

He merely tilted his head slightly to avoid it, muttering to himself.

"Go ahead and hit me! Let's see who comes out on top!"

Zhou Shufen's eyes darkened, and she was too lazy to argue with him. She raised her hand and used the suction cup to hit him.

She fell silent, her gaze turned cold, and she flicked her wrist.

The suction cup slammed onto Zhou Dajun's shoulder with a "smack" as it flew through the air.

The force wasn't particularly strong.

But the loud impact made Zhou Dajun tremble.

The expression on his face instantly changed from smug to astonishment.

"Oh my god, you actually hit me!"

Zhou Dajun let out a strange cry, his voice high-pitched and sharp.

He jumped up suddenly, waving his hands wildly, staggering backward, his face filled with disbelief.

He dodged while pointing at Zhou Shufen, his voice trembling.

"Are you crazy? You really dare to lay a hand on me? Do you believe I'll sue you?!"

He hurriedly dodged left and right, and before he knew it, he was forced to the doorway.

Zhou Shufen pressed closer, repeatedly wielding her suction cups.

Zhou Dajun frantically tried to defend himself, but his shoulders, arms, and thighs were hit one after another, making muffled "slap slap" sounds.

He slipped and almost fell, but he hurriedly grabbed the door frame to steady himself.

If I take another step back, I'll be almost out the door.

His back was almost pressed against the wall outside the door, and his heels were already hanging over the threshold.

He flailed his arms wildly, trying to grab onto something for support, but he caught nothing.

He could only shrink back in a sorry state, watching Zhou Shufen approach with a look of terror on his face.

Seeing that the situation was not good, he decided to go all out.
