"Don't understand?" Zhao Xiaohai looked at his brother sideways and smiled strangely.
"I don't understand." Li Qiang shrugged and said helplessly.
"Come, follow me." Zhao Xiaohai put out the cigarette in his hand, then stood up and pulled his brother to the window. "Do you see the Industrial Bank across the street? What did you find?"
"I saw the bank. As for what I found..." Li Qiang looked at the building opposite for a long time before hesitatingly saying, "I just found that this building is very beautiful. Hmm, there are a lot of people in front of the door. Hehe, business must be good."
"Well, that's a good observation," Zhao Xiaohai said with a smile, "Now use your little head to think about it and see if you can think of anything abnormal."
"Something unusual?!" Li Qiang stared at his brother in astonishment. After a long pause, he stammered, "Brother, what, what did you find out? Is someone targeting this, this bank?"
"You rascal, what are you thinking?" Zhao Xiaohai slapped his brother on the back of the head and scolded him with a smile. "Whether someone is targeting that bank or not has anything to do with us. What I'm showing you is...never mind. Look at this Industrial Bank, and then look at that old Russian Central Bank next to it. Oh, and that Labor Savings Bureau (a type of commercial bank in the Soviet Union)."
Zhao Xiaohai said this, looked at the watch on his hand, and then continued: "See if there is any difference between them. Well, I'm going out to meet two people now. When I come back, tell me what you have thought of. Oh, and also, keep an eye on your sister Jin. Don't let her run around. This place is different from China. It's her first time here. Don't cause me any trouble."
After walking out of the hotel, Zhao Xiaohai muttered to himself and found a taxi.
"Sir, where are you going?" The driver was a typical middle-aged Russian, and his face also had the usual indifference of Russians.
"No. 425 Leningrad Street." Zhao Xiaohai snorted coldly and said indifferently.
"Oh, sir, now is not the best time to watch striptease. I advise you to wait until after six o'clock." The driver glanced at Zhao Xiaohai in the rearview mirror and said sarcastically.
Zhao Xiaohai naturally knew what the driver meant, because the destination he mentioned happened to be an underground striptease venue, and that was exactly where the person he was looking for was.
"Really?" Putting the suitcase beside him, Zhao Xiaohai took out a bill and handed it over, saying indifferently, "What a pity! I just like watching striptease in the daylight. You drive."
The driver took the money, shrugged comically, and then started the car obediently as Zhao Xiaohai said.
Honestly, despite being the third-largest city in the Soviet Far East, Irkutsk's urban area appears particularly run-down. There are no modern skyscrapers to be seen here, and even taller modern buildings are rare. The most common sights on both sides of the streets are old Soviet-style buildings, while the rest are vast expanses of wasteland overgrown with weeds. But this is a good thing; at least here, people don't have to worry about traffic jams.
It took about ten minutes to get from the hotel to the destination. When the old-fashioned driver parked the car on the side of the road, Zhao Xiaohai pushed open the car door and got out carrying his suitcase.
"Monna Li Bar," Zhao Xiaohai said, looking at the unassuming little shop on the roadside, its doors tightly shut and its walls covered in graffiti. A faint smile played on his face. "Monna Li" means orange in Russian, so it seemed a bit funny that a strip club had such a name. But the funniest thing about it wasn't the name, but the two sentries outside. Imagine two soldiers in snow-camouflage uniforms, AK-47s slung over their shoulders, standing in front of a strip club. What would you think?
"Do you want to go in and watch the show?" Seeing Zhao Xiaohai standing opposite with a suitcase, a soldier threw away the cigarette in his hand, walked over quickly and asked.
"Hmm," Zhao Xiaohai snorted.
"Come with me." The soldier smiled coldly and said with a shake of his head.
Zhao Xiaohai casually pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and stuffed it into the soldier's jacket pocket, smiling and saying, "But I think everyone will be happy soon, don't you think?"
"Of course," the soldier was stunned for a moment, then a kind smile appeared on his frosty face. "I think your arrival will immediately cheer up the actors."
"Uh-huh." Zhao Xiaohai shrugged, then took a step and walked straight to the door of the bar.
Inside the door of the bar is a staircase leading directly to the underground. The staircase is very narrow and the light is very dim. If it weren't for a few pink light bulbs hanging on the walls on both sides, I believe you wouldn't be able to see anything inside.
Following the leading soldier, Zhao Xiaohai carefully climbed down the stairs. After turning a corner, his eyes suddenly opened up and a spacious hall appeared in front of him.
This hall was clearly the main venue of the strip club. In the center of the hall stood a one-meter-high stage. A slender woman, clad only in a pair of thong panties, was twirling on the stage like a water snake, performing all sorts of wanton and provocative movements. Honestly, this woman had a fantastic figure, with a slim waist and ample hips, especially her bust, which was round and firm, making her even more alluring.
Unfortunately, there were too few spectators in the dance hall at that moment. Apart from Zhao Xiaohai and the soldier who brought him in, there were only seven people in the entire empty hall - four hostesses, an officer sitting in front of the stage, and two soldiers standing in the corner of the hall.
