"Who lied to you?" A pleasant male voice came, and as the voice arrived, a man with an imposing, elegant and handsome appearance walked in. "Who lied to our sister Hanhan?"
"Brother Yan'er?"
Zhou Han looked at the man's face, as if trying to find the shadow of this man's childhood.
"It's me," Zhou Yan nodded with a smile, and said to the tearful woman beside the sofa, "Aunt, I'm back."
"You still remember to come back?" Zhou Xiang roughly wiped away his tears, rushed to the door, and beat the man who only half resembled his eldest brother. "Do you still remember that this is your home? Do you still know which way the door opens? Once you let it go, you won't know how to come back."
Zhou Yan let his aunt beat him, "I'm sorry, Yan'er made you worry."
"Wuwuwuwu, if you don't come back, we're going to forget about you."
Zhou Yan hugged his petite aunt into his arms. He could finally be her support. "Yes, yes, didn't I come back quickly to make myself familiar with her?"
When Ling Ran saw his wife being hugged by another man, he thought, how could that be allowed?
He took a few steps forward and tried to snatch it away, but Zhou Yan was dodging with his aunt in his arms. If he couldn't hold her this time, he would never be able to do so again.
Two people chased each other in the living room, no, including the passive Zhou Xiang, there were three people.
"Zhou Yan, give your aunt back to me quickly. She can only cry in my arms." Ling Ran was anxious. Why didn't he learn martial arts?
Zhou Xiang patted his nephew's shoulder and said, "Don't bother your uncle. He is a master of nervousness. The older he gets, the more nervous he gets."
"Wife," Ling Ran said aggrievedly, "You finally told the truth. Do you dislike me because I'm old?"
"No," Zhou Xiang hurried to explain, "Men become more flavorful as they get older, just like wine."
"Hahaha," two clear laughs came from outside the door.
Ling Ran then looked towards the rest area outside the door, where stood two men who were even more handsome than Zhou Yan.
"Hello, uncle, hello, aunt. I am Yi Xiangfan, a good friend of Zhou Yan." A man with a gentle appearance but still masculine charm bowed slightly politely and introduced himself.
"Hello, uncle, hello, aunt. I am Wu Minyi, and I am a close friend of Zhou Yan." A man with a tough appearance and a gentle temperament introduced himself.
Zhou Xiang had already left his nephew's arms, took the tissue handed to him, and wiped his eyes. "Hello! Welcome, welcome. I'm sorry for making you laugh just now."
"No, no," the two men quickly denied. Their laughter wasn't a joke. "We just felt that Aunt and Uncle had a great relationship. They cared deeply about each other's feelings and wouldn't let the other suffer even the slightest injustice. Our inappropriate laughter just now was because we were touched and happy. Aunt's words of comfort were so well-placed. Men really do become more fragrant as they age."
After the two finished talking, they looked at each other. They both insisted on following Zhou Yan back because their families were urging them to get married recently.
When Zhou Yan mentioned his three cousins, he looked like a happy brother. The two of them were envious and jealous, and gradually became interested in him. Knowing that Zhou Yan was a sister-protective man, they directly expressed their attitude to Zhou Yan that if his cousins looked down on them, they would not pester him.
Zhou Yan despised them for being old, but his two good friends were good people and they had nowhere to hide from the pressure of getting married from their families, so he agreed to give it a try. However, he had a condition: he was only allowed to make advances on his two cousins who had already graduated from college. The youngest one was still in high school and was absolutely not allowed to do so.
The two naturally agreed. They were interested in the quirky sister Tongtong and the independent and sensitive sister Yuanyuan. Their family situations were not suitable for raising the spoiled sister Baohanhan.
Ling Ran snorted. Who cares about the praise from these two juniors? Slippery tongues.
Zhou Xiang pulled his lover over and called them, "Come in and sit down."
"Thank you, Auntie."
Yi Xiangfan and Wu Minyi followed Zhou Yan into the living room and sat down. Zhou Han had already picked up his schoolbag and ran into the bedroom when he heard the man's laughter.
Her bedroom is right next to her aunt's bedroom. It used to be the room of her brothers and sisters. It was renovated a few years ago and became a shared room for her, Tongtong and Yuanyuan. It still has an upper bunk and a lower table. They feel very happy living together and playing around. Unfortunately, after her two sisters went out to college, only she occasionally uses the room.
Brother Haohao Dangdang's room was moved to the room of his brother Jiankangkang in the north section and was also renovated.
"Where is sister Hanhan?" After sitting down, Zhou Yan didn't see the delicate girl who was crying in grievance just now.
"She should go to her room to study. She's going to be a senior in high school this year and she's under a lot of pressure." Zhou wanted to know where her niece's pressure came from her older brothers and sisters.
"Where are Haohao, Dangdang, Tongtong and Yuanyuan?" Zhou Yan asked about the other four younger brothers and sisters.
"Haohao and Dangdang, those two brats, to avoid my retirement theory, teamed up with their father to do something sneaky. One of them enrolled in a military academy, and the other joined the army. Humph! They escaped my clutches four years ago.
After Tongtong and Yuanyuan received their diplomas, they became disillusioned. Frightened by Hanhan's talk of tutoring, they left a note and ran away. Before leaving, they promised Hanhan they would tutor her. "Tell me, why did you all use Hanhan to deceive her?"
Of course Zhou Yan knew where Haohaodangdang had gone. Although he had not been back in the past ten years, he had always kept in touch with his aunt. However, it was not easy to directly ask about the whereabouts of his two sisters, after all, there was a man from outside the family.
Now that he knew that Hanhan's sister had just said that he had lied to her, Zhou Yan touched his nose awkwardly. "When I left, she asked me when I would be back, and I told her I would be back during the holidays."
"Yes! She looks forward to every holiday. You are too much!" Zhou Xiang felt sorry for his niece's stubborn temper.
"I'll apologize to her later."
"Don't let her do what she wants. You've spoiled her like this, and she can't stand any grievances. What will she do when she goes to college next year? Your Third Aunt and I are so worried."
"It's too late to worry now," Zhou Yan said with a sly smile, "Wait until she goes to college and suffers more, her mind will become stronger."
"Nonsense, okay, let's not talk about this for now. Take your friends out to play, have lunch here at noon, and call your dad over too. Don't stay locked up in the studio all day."
Ten years ago, my eldest brother's painting was only nominated but did not win any award. He felt disappointed and realized his own shortcomings. In addition, Yan'er left and wandered around for a few years before returning and participating in this year's art exhibition.
He no longer cared about gains and losses, let go of everything, and became detached from the world like a monk. Sometimes Zhou Xiang even wanted to ask his elder brother whether he should give up eating meat, become a vegetarian and chant Buddhist scriptures, as if he was about to ascend to heaven.
Zhou Yan took his two friends away. Ling Ran stared at their backs until the elevator door closed. He then looked away. "Yan'er hasn't been home for ten years, yet he suddenly brings his friends back. Isn't that a bit abrupt? And he didn't even notify us in advance."
"What do you care! The child is grown up and has his own ideas." Zhou Xiang didn't care about these. She wanted to talk to Guo Jia about the arrangements for lunch.
