There was nothing much to see, so Zhou decided to go to a cotton-flossing shop to order quilts and mattresses.
After hearing that 24 quilts and mattresses weighing seven and four pounds each were needed, and 30 rice husk pillows were needed, the cotton-stuffing worker was so surprised that he couldn't close his mouth.
"You, you want so much, and you only give me one month. I'm afraid I can't do it."
"No cotton?"
"No, the cotton can be collected from the rural areas in Gu County. The main problem is that we don't have enough time."
"Then make 24-pound thick beds and pillows first, weighing 4 kilograms. I can come back after the New Year to get them."

Zhou Xiang laughed, "Haha, that's good. I can run away but the temple can't."
After leaving the cotton-fluffing shop and buying a large piece of jelly at the market, Zhou Xiang brought Liu Hui back.
"Sister Guo, do you know how to make jelly?"
Guo Xuehua shook his head, "I haven't done that."
"It's just like fried tofu, cut into slices like tofu, but when frying, dip both sides in flour and fry until golden brown, then add soy sauce, green onions, ginger, garlic, and water."

At noon, everyone was afraid to pick up their chopsticks in front of a bowl of mushy food. Zhou Xiang picked up the slippery jelly with his chopsticks and put a few pieces into his bowl before slowly starting to eat.
Liu Hui followed suit, but he quickly spat it out again, "It's so hot!"
"You idiot! Didn't you see I put it on top of the rice and ate it slowly?"
Zhou's mother blamed Zhou Xiang for speaking harshly.
"I wish I could scold him and leave! He actually wants to work for me and even wants to marry here. If he likes this shabby town of ours, he must have come from some remote mountain village."
Liu Hui retracted his tongue, which was used to enjoy the cool breeze. "You are amazing! My home is in the mountains."
"Eat."
The next person to pick up the dish was Guo Xuehua. She made it herself and had to taste it.
The three of them couldn't stop eating, so Zhu Hang and Chen Ou quickly picked up their chopsticks.
With Liu Hui leading the way, they also followed Zhou Xiang's example and blew hard before biting.
Hmm! A little bit springy and a little bit sticky.
Seeing that they were eating and then taking more pieces, Zhou Xiang quickly put a few more pieces into his own bowl.
Each of these six people is a food grabber.
Mother Zhou and Aunt Wang only ate one piece before it was gone, and Guo Xuehua only tasted two pieces.
Zhou Xiang protected his bowl, "If you want to eat it, I'll make it tomorrow! Isn't it just jelly? Something you eat plenty of in the summer."

Mother Zhou glared at her little girl and tried to find fault again. "Tomorrow, when I cook it, I'll add a small amount of salt. I'll serve you a bowl and then add more salt."
Zhou Yu responded happily, "Thank you, Mom!"
Zhou wanted to retort to her, "Mom has taken care of you and your child for several months, and I haven't heard you say thank you. Now that I've gotten food, you're quick to thank me."
Zhou Yu was used to her scolding, "I know how hard it is for Mom, but I won't tell you. It would be awkward if I did."
After saying that, she no longer stayed by the handrail, but her sister still had to argue with her.
Mother Zhou glared at her little girl, "Looking for trouble, huh?"
"That's right! Who told her to stay in confinement after childbirth? She still needs people to serve her meals."
