Chapter 34 is just a joke.

Chapter 34 Just let it go like a fart

When Lu Xiangyang and Jiang Jiani came out hand in hand, the three men who had been fighting in the living room had already made up.

The three of them huddled together to read the newspaper and cursed the inhuman foreigners and the sycophantic lackeys who wanted to run away from the country. They cursed with great spittle flying everywhere.

As a result, they saw Lu Xiangyang, who looked the same but somehow seemed different.

Li Jiuming and Zhao Nanguo circled around Lu Xiangyang, and if it weren't for Jiang Jianni watching them like a hawk, they would have really wanted to pinch and kick him.

"Old Lu, is this really you?"

"Old Lu, you're actually a masked man, aren't you? Now you've peeled off the mask and revealed your true colors?"

Although Jiang Haibing was also a little surprised by Lu Xiangyang's change, he had often seen his second sister putting on makeup recently, and Lu Xiangyang just looked a little slender, taller and better looking in comparison.

The makeup and head transplant that Jiang Jiani once gave him were nowhere near as shocking as the one he did.

"Alright, alright, it's getting late. Let's take advantage of the good sunshine and hurry up and take the photos to get it done."

Then, looking at Jiang Jiani, he sighed, "Can't we just film at home? Why do we have to film outside? It's freezing cold, what if she gets sick from the cold?"

Jiang Jianni pretended not to hear: "Let's go."

None of the people present had ever seen wedding photos taken, especially outdoors in the freezing cold.

We're going even if it's a loud rumble.

As newcomers, Jiang Jiani and Lu Xiangyang rode in a car driven by Zhao Nanguo with the photographer and Jiang Yanni, while Jiang Haibing and Jiang Haiyang could only ride bicycles.

As Jiang Haibing watched the Jeep drive away, its exhaust puffing smoke, he thought fiercely, "Damn it, I'll buy my own car sooner or later."

Look how well that person drives their little car.

He could go wherever he wanted in the dead of winter, with an iron chain wrapped around the wheels, unafraid of snow or ice. He was so envious that his eyes turned red.

Jiang Haiyang nudged his older brother and whispered, "Brother, don't worry."

"Sooner or later, every household will have a private car, and our family will have one too, so don't worry."

Jiang Haibing scolded him and told him to behave.

I thought to myself, "That's really good."

And every household has a car. Do you know how much a car costs? Do you know how much a family earns in a year? Do you know how many years it takes for a family to save up enough money to buy a car?

The little brat doesn't understand anything. He just spouts nonsense because he's been to school for a couple of days and read the newspapers for a few days.

When you start working, you'll know what it means to have a hard time making money and to have a miserable life.

Winter is the peak season for wedding photoshoots.

When they arrived at the small park in front of the wedding photography studio, there were already about ten young couples lined up outside.

Upon seeing someone drive by, a flurry of discussion immediately broke out.

To everyone's surprise, after the people in the car got off, they actually struck a pose as if they wanted to take a picture.

The people in line immediately became interested and turned to look.

When the bride and groom found a good spot, struck a pose, and took off their military overcoats, everyone was stunned.

Then I watched as people posed like this and that, taking seven or eight photos in a row. Later, I even put on a military overcoat and took two more photos.

As they packed up their gear and prepared to leave, a young couple couldn't resist and finally left the group to find them.

Which photo studio do you work at?

"Your clothes are so festive and beautiful! How much did you pay for them?"

"Do I need to pay rent for this outfit? How much is the rent?"

The girl was more focused on Jiang Jianni's makeup: "Your makeup was done by a professional, it looks so good. The photographers at that studio don't do makeup for you, and they charge exorbitant prices."

"It costs 30 yuan to take a black and white photo in a wedding dress, and 50 yuan for a color one. We can only afford to take one."

The young couple talked on and on, and when I heard that they were working independently, not through a photo studio, and that they had prepared their own clothes, I was filled with both envy and disappointment.

I wanted to discuss with Jiang Jiani and the others whether I could borrow their clothes and camera to take a picture.

Of course, they are willing to pay, and if Jiang Jianni could help with makeup, they would be willing to pay more.

Wedding photo studios don't provide makeup; whether you look good or not depends on the individual.

It doesn't seem like much when there's no comparison, but once you compare, you realize that the photos taken at the photo studio aren't very good.

While they were talking, several more young people who had to wait in line for a long time came over.

A group of young people were gathered together, chattering away and occasionally pointing out directions to the photo studio.

The owner of the photo studio had been watching the area ever since Jiang Jiani and her companions got off the bus.

Seeing the young people queuing up on their side heading towards the group taking photos, pointing and whispering about them, it was obvious they were talking badly about their family.

The proprietress's plump face darkened, and she stormed out, broom in hand.

When they arrived at the location, good heavens, there were four burly men, each over six feet tall. Their imposing aura immediately weakened, and they said in a low voice:

"You, you can't take pictures here."

Jiang Jianni looked at the aggrieved and angry proprietress with amusement: "Why? Did you build this little park?"

The proprietress felt disgusted just looking at the beautiful bride, especially when she heard other people say they wanted to take photos with them; she was filled with revulsion.

"Even though it wasn't built by my family, it's right in front of my house. What's the difference between it and my house?"

"You all need to leave now, leave, leave, don't get in the way here."

"If you don't leave now, I'll have my men come and arrest you."

Jiang Jianni laughed and pointed to the residential area across from the photo studio: "Is your house right in front of your door?"

"The apartment complex across the street is right in front of your house, is that also yours?"

"Should we ask the people inside if they bought this house?"

"Forget it, there are too many people living there, it's too troublesome to ask them one by one, let's just go to the neighborhood office."

"The people in the neighborhood office must know."

"After all, buying an entire neighborhood at once costs a lot of money."

The photo studio owner's face turned pale: "You, you, you, I, I was just saying that, why are you making such a big deal out of it?"

Jiang Jianni: "You said it's all yours. I'm going to find someone to verify if you're lying."

"If you're not lying and prove this whole area belongs to you, then we won't come here anymore."

"After all, we poor folks wouldn't dare to mess with a millionaire like you."

The proprietress felt that the words sounded familiar, but she was also terrified by them.

Petty theft is common nowadays, as are burglaries, kidnappings, and extortions.

Her family doesn't have millions, but they do have several hundred thousand.

If some bad person overhears this and gets malicious, their family will be in big trouble.

She wanted to act like a shrew, but there were men and women around. She couldn't beat this woman in a shouting match, and she couldn't reason with her as well as the other woman with her twisted logic.

If they fight, those four guys look fierce. Even if they bring out all their men and employees, they probably wouldn't stand a chance against those two—and their employees are all girls, so they'd be even less likely to win.

After much thought, I still couldn't come up with a solution.

Having no other choice, the proprietress steeled herself, knelt down with a thud, and began kowtowing repeatedly.

"Grandma, my little darling, please, please let me go."

"I was just spouting nonsense. I was blind to the value of a gem. My business is small and not easy to run. Please just ignore me."
