Chapter 34: Emotional Heat

Thinking of Li Mu's behavior just now, Lin Wan became angrier and angrier, but she was still worried about Li Mu. She tucked the corner of the quilt for Li Mu and left without looking back.

Prepare to go to Aunt Wang's house next door and pick Ruoruo up.

Before Lin Wan could go over, she heard Aunt Wang shouting across the courtyard wall: "Wan Wan is back? Have you eaten? I made a lot of fried sugar cakes today, come over and have something to eat."

"Okay, I'm coming over. Aunt Wang, please take care of Ruoruo." Lin Wan turned around and took out two cans of food from the kitchen, as well as the pickles that she had made two days ago, and carried them to the next door.

Lin Wan walked to the outside of Aunt Wang's room, where Aunt Wang was lying on a recliner, while Ruoruo was playing with the little car that Li Mu brought back from the county town last time.

"You brought so many things here again. Are you being polite to me?" Aunt Wang quickly stood up and said to Lin Wan with some reproach.

Lin Wan put the things into Aunt Wang's kitchen skillfully and said with a smile, "No way, Li Mu is sick today, so I may have to trouble you to take care of Ruoruo. This can is for the two of you. I made these pickles two days ago, and I wanted to give them to you to try."

After hearing what Lin Wan said, Aunt Wang nodded and accepted it. Then he pointed to the kitchen and said, "There is warm porridge in the pot. Remember to bring some for your Li Mu. There are fried cakes on the table. Take them yourself."

"Okay, I won't be polite to you, haha."

Lin Wan took the fried sugar cake and sat on the recliner next to Aunt Wang, eating happily while swaying.

...

...

Looking at the warm scene in front of her, Aunt Wang felt very happy.

Li Mu, who had taken a nap, slowly opened his eyes and felt sticky all over. He frowned a little uncomfortably.

I propped myself up with my hands and sat up, taking a deep breath. I felt much better than in the morning. I looked at my clothes and found they were a little wet. I got up a little irritably, picked up clean clothes, and prepared to take a shower.

After Lin Wan had dinner at Aunt Wang's, she went home with her bowl of porridge and ran into Li Mu who was taking his clothes to take a shower.

He shouted in dissatisfaction, "What are you going to do? Taking a shower when you have a cold?"

Hearing Lin Wan's voice, Li Mu felt a little guilty. He stopped halfway and stood there, not daring to move. He hung his head, like a child who had been wronged.

Seeing Li Mu like this, Lin Wan sighed and said softly, "Come in. You haven't recovered from your cold yet, so you can't take a shower. Sweating is normal. I'll get a big basin of hot water to wipe your body later."

Hearing Lin Wan say this, Li Mu immediately showed a bright smile, turned and went into the room, sat at the dining table like a good baby, waiting for Lin Wan to feed him.

Seeing Li Mu acting so childishly, Lin Wan burst out laughing, shook her head, and followed Li Mu into the house.

The patient meal that Aunt Wang specially prepared for Li Mu was placed in front of Li Mu.

Li Mu, who was already a little hungry, looked at the white porridge in front of him. Although it was just watery, the pickled vegetables made by Aunt Wang looked particularly delicious. Li Mu couldn't wait to pick up the chopsticks and put some into his mouth.

"Eat slowly. The pickles are a bit salty. Just eat them with the porridge." Lin Wan said with a bit of amusement when she saw Li Mu like this.

After eating the pickles, Li Mu's appetite was greatly increased. While drinking the white porridge in his mouth, he looked at Lin Wan and nodded happily.

Li Mu finished the meal that Aunt Wang prepared for him in no time. After finishing the meal, Li Mu licked his lips with a sense of satisfaction and said:

"Wanwan, I want more. I'm not full." As he said this, he touched his stomach and looked at Lin Wan with anticipation.

"I know, I know. I'll go to Aunt Wang's house and get some for you. Fortunately, Aunt Wang knows that you have a big appetite, so she made a lot. You have to finish it later and don't waste it."

Lin Wan tapped Li Mu's forehead and said with a smile.

In order to prevent Li Mu from not eating enough, Lin Wan directly brought him a big bowl this time. As a result, Li Mu, who had an amazing appetite, finished his meal in no time.

Li Mu touched his bloated stomach and bargained with Lin Wan, "Wan Wan, can I go out now? I feel much better now... cough cough... cough cough."

Lin Wan rolled her eyes at Li Mu, looked at him with a warning look, and said, "You call this much better? Then why are you coughing again now?"

Li Mu touched his nose, picked up a tissue and blew it, then said in a hoarse voice:

"How could I not know my own body? It must be... cough cough... cough cough... it must be healed."

Lin Wan didn't want to listen to Li Mu's nonsense, so she pointed at the bed and motioned Li Mu to lie back down. She didn't say anything more and silently cleaned up the mess that Li Mu had left.

Seeing that Lin Wan didn't say anything, Li Mu sat there for a while with a look of disappointment on his face. He wanted to speak up to argue for it, but Lin Wan just gave him a look, and Li Mu could only swallow the words he hadn't said yet.

I silently brainwashed myself in my heart, saying: "Listen to your wife and you will be rich. Listen to your wife and you will be rich."

After Lin Wan had finished cleaning up everything, she wanted to go see if Li Mu's fever had subsided, and she saw Li Mu pulling at the corner of the quilt, staring at the ceiling without blinking, and muttering something under his breath.

Lin Wan walked in curiously, lowered her head and tried to listen to Li Mu's words, but as soon as she walked in, Li Mu grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the bed.

She said with a smile: "Wanwan, come to bed and stay with me for a while. We haven't slept together for a long time."

Lin Wan, who was about to scold Li Mu, calmed down instantly after hearing Li Mu's somewhat coquettish words.

She slowly moved her body, sticking close to the wall, not wanting to get too close to Li Mu, but Li Mu refused. Every time Lin Wan took a step back, Li Mu would move one step closer. In this way, Lin Wan was trapped between Li Mu and the wall, unable to move.

When Li Mu saw that his evil plan had succeeded, he shook his head happily.

Lin Wan was so angry that she immediately sat up and was about to get out of bed. Li Mu hurriedly pulled her back and whispered, "Wan Wan, don't leave. Sleep with me for a while."

"Then move over a little, you're going to squeeze me to death!" Lin Wan said to Li Mu helplessly.

Li Mu reluctantly moved away to leave some space for Lin Wan. As soon as Lin Wan lay down, Li Mu held her in his arms.

Lin Wan was very helpless. She struggled a little, but seeing that she couldn't get free, she had to give up and let Li Mu hold her.

After taking cold medicine, Li Mu rested his head on Lin Wan's shoulder, smelled the fragrance of Lin Wan's body, and slowly fell asleep.

Because she had slept very soundly last night, Lin Wan did not feel sleepy at all. She could only stare at the ceiling in a daze. Listening to Li Mu's steady breathing, Lin Wan placed the back of her hand on Li Mu's forehead and felt it lightly.

It's much better than before, and the fever should be slowly subsiding. As Li Mu slept deeper and deeper, Lin Wan broke free from Li Mu's arms and got up.
