Luo Wenyuan led his team and Qingshan, avoiding the security cameras at St. Vlad's outer gate and circling back to the foot of the mountain where Jenny had been found, finding the inconspicuous cave entrance. A large number of wasps were still diligently guarding the cave entrance. Sensing someone approaching, they assumed attacking stances. Fortunately, a red light appeared in time, and the swarm dispersed.
Luo Wenyuan squatted down, pressing his palms to the ground at the cave entrance, carefully listening for the signals coming from the ground. The cave was very quiet, with only the occasional rustling of animals passing through the ground, but no signs of vampires lurking.
Luo Wenyuan used his earth-related abilities, and the passage, which was as narrow as a thief's hole and only allowed a thin person to pass through, expanded and grew higher silently. Within a few breaths, it became a passage as tall as a person with smooth inner walls.
Luo Wenyuan entered first, using his earth-based abilities to transform the narrow hole in front of him as he walked. Qingshan followed behind Luo Wenyuan, marveling at the thought that it was a shame that such a talented person didn't go dig a sewer (Luo Wenyuan: Huh?).
A group of people walked in the passage for about twenty minutes and finally approached the underground castle of Saint Vlad. Luo Wenyuan clenched his right fist and raised it to his ear, signaling the people behind him to stop.
They were now only two meters away from the entrance dug by John. Luo Wenyuan squatted down, carefully feeling the situation inside the castle in front of him, and made a few combat gestures to the team members, who immediately understood what was going on.
Qingshan didn't understand Luo Wenyuan's gestures, but she had a red light. The red light was rewarded, so she worked harder and reported the situation inside to her master long ago.
On the fourth floor, there were twenty-two people, all locked in cages, their bodies pierced by fangs. Most of them were cold and unconscious on the ground, with only two or three still awake, uttering faint, painful moans.
Luo Wenyuan gestured, and the team members began to move. Qingshan followed them into the fourth floor. Luo Wenyuan rushed to the entrance leading to the third floor and used his earth power to silently raise a wall of earth, sealing off this floor to prevent any noise from alerting the vampires above.
After the earthen wall closed, Luo Wenyuan remained standing, closely monitoring any movements from the ground. Lei Bei and Batur drew their special combat daggers, slashed the cage door open, and carried the unconscious humans out one after another.
The three people who were still awake saw Batur and the others come in. They didn't know who they were, so they bit their lips and dared not to continue moaning. They opened their eyes and stared at the team members in horror.
Qingshan saw Batur pick up a person in each hand and carry another on his shoulders, and was about to run out of the passage, ready to use the ant moving style to transport the people out as quickly as possible. Qingshan frowned. The passage was winding and it would take at least half an hour to go from here to the exit at the foot of the mountain and back. It would be a waste of time for them to carry people out. Qingshan quickly patted Batur and asked him to wait. Batur lowered his head and looked at Qingshan with a puzzled expression.
Qingshan asked Batur to put the unconscious human slaves on the ground and arrange them in a row.
The three awake men were also carried out by Lei Bei. They had lost so much blood that they could no longer stand, so they could only sit on the ground, barely holding up their upper bodies. Qingshan planned to help the three men regain their mobility first. She lifted up a thin young slave and prepared to pour some spiritual water into his mouth. The young man was terrified and clenched his teeth tightly, but Qingshan's finger force was so strong that she could even open Luo Wenyuan's jaw, let alone a weak boy.
Qingshan gently pinched his cheek with his index and thumb, supported his chin with his ring finger, and lifted it with a smooth motion. With a gulp, the water from the spiritual pond poured into the boy's stomach. The boy smacked his lips, realizing that Qingshan had fed him sweet, clear water, not an aphrodisiac or anything like that. With a sigh of relief, he stopped struggling and obediently extended his hand for Qingshan to hold.
Qingshan channeled his spiritual energy around the boy's body, stopping at his liver and stimulating it to begin producing more blood. Nourished by both the spiritual pond water and the spiritual energy, the boy regained his strength. Though still weak from the blood loss, he felt much better than before and struggled to his feet.
Batur saw that the young man who was as limp as mud just now was able to walk with the help of the wall in the blink of an eye. He touched his round, shaved head with his big hand and grinned at Qingshan and gave him a thumbs up.
