Chapter 178

Lei Bei played around for a while, then, seizing a moment of hesitation from Mux, flicked his wrist and launched the nine-section whip towards Mux, piercing her lower abdomen. Mux was even faster than Lei Bei, and as soon as the nine-section whip was released, she spun forward, preparing to attack from close to Lei Bei.

Mux noticed that after Lei Bei used his electric power, there was no movement. She wondered if this Chinese man's power had a cooldown period. If so, then what was there to fear? Mux decided to test it out. After getting close to Lei Bei, she stopped attacking and continued to slash and stab with Saravel, swinging her blade at an incredible speed, leaving Lei Bei struggling to block left and right.

Lei Bei had no time to retract his nine-section whip and could only use the handle to block. He was no match for Mux, and she slashed his collarbone, causing blood to flow instantly. Startled, Lei Bei took advantage of Mux's opening to quickly leap out of the circle, retract his nine-section whip, and frowned as he looked down at the blood on his chest: If that strike had been a little higher, severing his throat, he would have been dead.

When Mux smelled the scent of blood, she trembled with excitement. The blood of the psychics was indeed sweeter than that of ordinary humans. She watched Lei Bei struggling to resist and never emitting any more lightning. She was happy in her heart. It seemed that her guess was right.

"Little guy, why don't you discharge?"

Mux glanced at Lei Bei with a charming look and blew a kiss at him exaggeratedly. Lei Bei's face turned as dark as the bottom of a pot and he said unhappily:

"What? Did the electric shock give you pleasure? Are you addicted?"

“Hehehe!”

Mux flipped her wet hair and laughed uncontrollably. "Let me guess—you can't use this ability now, right?"

Seeing Lei Bei's silence, Mux felt even more smug. Since this psychic was now just like an ordinary person, she'd have to find a way to take him down! Mux had never drunk the blood of a psychic before, so she figured it must taste delicious. With a determined heart, she chuckled and darted towards Lei Bei again, continuing the close combat strategy that favored her.

Lei Bei folded up his nine-section whip, holding the tail in his left hand and the head in his right. He countered Mux's attacks with both hands, much more effortlessly than before. Mux usually used her sharp nails to fight, but she had worn leather gloves to protect herself from Lei Bei's abilities. Now that she was certain Lei Bei's abilities were ineffective, she simply ripped off her left glove, her fingers forming claws, and attacked Lei Bei with both hands.

Lei Bei used the "Thousands of Colors" move, thrusting the nine-section whip at Mux's chest. The tip of the whip trembled as it thrust, making it impossible for her to tell where it was going. Mux thrust the Saravel upwards, the barbs on the side of the dagger nearly severing Lei Bei's finger. Lei Bei quickly changed his tactics, retreating two steps, a cold sweat breaking out on his back. "Fuck! This old woman is quite powerful!"

Mux licked her lips even more wantonly, let out a cry, and formed her left hand into a claw, leaping up to grab Lei Bei. Lei Bei was not as fast as her, and was unable to dodge, so Mux's claw pierced his left chest.

Mux's sharp nails had dug into his muscles. If she dug harder, she would dig out Lei Bei's heart. Lei Bei's face turned pale with pain, and the whip tail in his left hand fell to the ground, and the ring made a jingling sound.

Mux placed her left hand on the Rebbe's left chest and moved around behind him, resting her right hand on his throat. Like a beautiful snake, Mux clung to the Rebbe's back, gently blowing into his ear and letting out a suggestive sigh:

"Hey, beauty, I finally caught you!"

Mux stood behind Rebe, unable to see his expression. Rebe's face was pale, but not a trace of fear. Instead, he gave a strange, slightly painful smile. Mux stuck out her tongue and licked Rebe's earlobe, giving him goosebumps.

"Guess what I'm going to do to you? I'm going to—uhhhhhhhhhhh—!"

Before Mux could finish her words, her entire body convulsed. She clung to Lei Bei like a man with epilepsy, shaking non-stop and making "uh uh" sounds. Mux was horrified. Oh no! How had this Chinese person's supernatural powers returned? She desperately tried to pull her hand free from Lei Bei's chest, but the current had already sucked her in. Her spasming muscles were beyond her control, and she could only continue to tremble like a sieve.

Lei Bei raised his hand and grabbed Mux's wrist, pulling her claws out of his chest, gasping in pain.

Lei Bei turned around and ruthlessly thrust the tip of the nine-section whip into Mux's mouth. The sharp arrowhead emerged from the back of her head, bringing out a pool of white brain matter.

Only when Lei Bei withdrew his supernatural power did Mux's body stop shaking. She fell to the ground with a thud, deader than dead. Lei Bei clutched his chest and spat in hatred:

"You old bitch, you talk more than me!"
