Looking at the still bewildered child, the man took out the bag he had been holding in his arms, slowly opened it, and revealed its contents.
The child's eyes widened instantly when he saw the candies and chocolates displayed on the table.
"dad!"
"Shengsheng, this is from a kind older sister. She specifically asked me if I had a child, and knowing that I do, she gave it to you." The man said solemnly to the boy.
"When you see it later, you must say thank you. Dad didn't open it in time today, otherwise, Dad would have given them the rest of the things." The man was very annoyed; his things weren't worth that much at all, and he had gotten a great deal. He also realized that he had met a good person today.
"Are there several of them?"

"The girl who chose your mom's agate bracelet and diamond necklace was a round-faced young lady with big eyes; she was very cute."
"The last one is the kind that looks a lot like your mother, you should know that."
“Oh, I know. She looks cold, but she’s actually very gentle inside,” the boy replied quickly, his eyes wide.
The man nodded with relief. His child hadn't forgotten what his mother looked like, and he didn't want his son to forget his wife so soon.
"Yes, just like Mom, she looks cold, but she's actually very gentle. That older sister is the tallest, she's 170cm."
The boy nodded, indicating that he had remembered.
The man earnestly instructed him, "You must remember that although the world has changed, there are still good people, as long as you know how to distinguish them. But you can't go against your conscience. Dad doesn't want you to live like those beasts."

Tian Tian knew that Li Xiao was making fun of her, and she pouted in dissatisfaction. This only made Li Xiao and the others laugh even louder.
Just then, the door was opened, and the three of them stopped and turned to look at the doorway.
When Zhou Lingyu and the other two returned, they looked at each other in silence for a moment.
At that moment, Zhou Lingyu noticed the jewelry on the table, her eyes flashed, and something seemed to cross her mind.
Then, a look of disdain appeared on his face without any attempt to hide it. "Tch, what a country bumpkin."
Li Xiao's face darkened. Was this guy crazy? What a jerk.
"It stinks. Who took a dump?" Li Xiao turned around and said expressionlessly.
Tian Tian understood. "Oh, who knows? Maybe she just pooped. It really stinks. Who's so inconsiderate to leave the toilet door open? It's disgusting." She sat up and started fiddling with her little gadget.
Qiu Fengyu, however, remained expressionless, coldly glancing at the doorway before lazily sipping her water.
Zhou Lingyu was furious; neither of them was likable. Just wait and see.
"Hmph, what a piece of junk. Only now are you starting to appreciate it. How pathetic." With a haughty expression, he turned and prepared to go upstairs.
"Well, something rare is better than nothing rare."
"Exactly, I can like it whenever I want, I'm happy to. Hehe."
"Hmph, poor bastard."
"Idiot."
"idiot."
"Tian Tian, come on, you've got your mouth dirty. Let's go prepare lunch. It's a bit beneath us to waste our energy arguing over who wins." Li Xiao called to Tian Tian and followed her to the kitchen.
Zhou Lingyu seemed to think she had won a battle, and raised her head to continue upstairs.
Her gaze swept over Qiu Fengyu, who had already stood up, and she saw a cold gaze fixed on her, like a chilling sword piercing her heart.
Zhou Lingyu's head froze, as if her whole body was about to freeze.
Qiu Fengyu's emotionless glance made Zhou Lingyu freeze in place. She glanced at her and slowly walked towards the kitchen.
Startled by that cold glare, Zhou Lingyu lost all her previous triumphant joy. Gritting her teeth, she walked upstairs expressionlessly.
"Don't worry about it, just bear with it for today. Tomorrow will be better." Qiu Fengyu went into the kitchen and comforted her gently.
Li Xiao nodded, "Yeah, it's okay, Sister Yu. Who would bother with her? She's crazy, she'll bite anyone she can get her hands on."
Tian Tian was washing a rag with water when she continued, "Exactly, she's got a problem, but it has nothing to do with her. She's always complaining about this and that, like a mad dog."
"Yes, ignore her, she's mentally unstable." Qiu Fengyu squatted down and helped wash the vegetables.
The three of them returned to their initial harmonious atmosphere, chatting and laughing together.
