This is indeed an office building, not very tall, only about 20 stories.
I went into each floor, but there wasn't much to see or do; I didn't gain much.
"Xiaoxiao, take a look at the map and see where there are plenty of supplies, like supermarkets, shopping malls, factories, and so on," Yu Yanbin said after thinking for a while.
That's definitely a waste of time; it would be better to go for something bigger.
"So what if it's dangerous? At least the rewards will be great, right?" Li Xiao nodded and looked around.
This is still on the outskirts of the county town; we haven't gone very far in. "Should we go into the county town?" Li Xiao asked.
"Not necessarily, let's see where there are more supplies."
"Okay, you know the town center is all about selling things. But there are some things around here too. I think it's a factory, wanna go?"
"A factory?" Everyone became interested.
"What factory?" Yu Yanbin asked.
Li Xiao shook her head, "I don't know about that."
Everyone understood that Li Xiao could see, but she had never said that she could see everything clearly.
"Then, should we go take a look?" Shao Jie asked from the side.
Yu Yanbin looked at Cheng Shaolin and said, "We can go and take a look. We won't know what will happen if we don't go. We can only be sure when we go."
Cheng Shaolin nodded, "That makes sense."
"Xiaoxiao, which direction is it?" Yu Yanbin asked.
"The area where we are is mostly residential, and the opposite side is also mostly residential. If you continue forward, you'll be closer to the city center, and to the north, it's mostly factories."
Li Xiao was still unsure. "I need to go further ahead and confirm it."
"Okay, let's keep going and find our way first."
Everyone get in the car and continue driving forward.
As the car moves, the map changes.
"Hmm, to the left, there's a factory over there, looks like an industrial area."
"Okay." Xiao Peng obediently turned onto the road to the north.
Half an hour later, the number of buildings decreased, while the number of factories increased.
Aside from those driving, everyone else was paying attention to the buildings on both sides, trying to figure out what kind of factories they were.
"Hey, wait a minute, that sign says 'food factory'!" Shao Jie suddenly shouted, pointing to the gate of a factory ahead.
"Where?" Tian Tian asked hurriedly.
Shao Jie pointed it out to her, and indeed, it read "Wanda Food Co., Ltd." on the door.
"Yes, it is a food factory. Do you want to go take a look?" Tian Tian excitedly turned around and shouted to everyone.
Yu Yanbin surveyed the surroundings and, seeing that there weren't many zombies, signaled everyone to get out of the car.
Li Xiao parked her car and followed the group, with Cheng Shaolin standing guard beside her.
Yu Yanbin quickly dealt with the several zombies that rushed at them, and the group lined up in two rows and walked into the factory in an orderly manner.
"Shao Jie, go and take a look first, be careful."
"Okay, I'll go check it out first."
"Be careful," Xiao Peng cautioned him.
"Well, don't worry."
The others proceeded cautiously behind, and within a few minutes, Shao Jie emerged like the wind.
"Captain, it's a food processing plant inside, it looks like they make instant noodles." Shao Jie said excitedly, "I didn't look inside, I only looked outside. I don't know if there are any instant noodles inside, we'll have to go in and see."
"Okay, let's go in and take a look."
The group rushed into the factory with great enthusiasm, only to find a couple of zombies inside.
We arrived at the factory without much trouble, but it was already empty.
After searching for a long time without finding anything, Shao Jie was disappointed. He had hoped to find something good.
Xiao Peng patted him on the back to comfort him. "It's okay. If we don't come in, we won't know what else is inside."
"Yes, it's okay. Who would have known there wasn't a single thing left?" Yu Yanbin hadn't expected it to be so clean.
Looking at the empty, dusty factory and warehouse, everyone felt quite disheartened.
"Let's look for others, there won't be none left," Cheng Shaolin comforted the dejected group. He didn't believe it was like that everywhere; there would always be some left. As long as they found that place, that would be enough.
“Yes, let’s take another look ahead,” Li Xiao said. “Let’s go, let’s go see what’s ahead.”
"Okay, let's go, Xiaoxiao, let's keep looking." Seeing Li Xiao and Tian Tian walking out with smiles on their faces, the others perked up and followed behind.
“Yes, I don’t believe there’s nothing there.” Shao Jie said, clenching his fist in protest.
It's almost 11 o'clock, so let's rest at this restaurant we just arrived at and continue in the afternoon.
"Is it time to eat?" Li Xiao asked the people around her.
"Let's eat first, we'll go out later."
After receiving a positive reply, Li Xiao began taking things out of the space.
First came the table and chairs, then the food was placed on the table.
When the steamed buns and dumplings made in the morning were placed on the table, everyone was once again surprised to find that they were still hot! Just like they had just come out of the pot, steaming hot.
"Xiaoxiao, this is great, haha, it's just like it came out of the pot. Haha." Shao Jie couldn't help but laugh.
Everyone else looked happy too; nothing is more comforting than a hot meal after a long day of work.
No need to cook now, you can eat whenever you want, it's convenient and quick, there's nothing more comfortable.
"Xiaoxiao, that's amazing! You're incredible!" A fellow comedian chimed in.
Seeing Tian Tian's bright smile, Li Xiao also grinned.
Then she took a few more plates of side dishes, including pickled vegetables, pickled mustard greens, and spicy and sour cucumbers that she had prepared beforehand.
