Chapter 302 Explains the Source

"Does that mean we're no longer being monitored by other psychics?"

Tian Tian couldn't help but exclaim excitedly.

Li Xiao smiled and nodded, "Mm."

"Wow, that's amazing! Xiaoxiao, you're so great!"

"Yes, Xiaoxiao, you're amazing!"

His teammates kept praising him, saying that his move was amazing.

"Xiaoxiao, so now, are we not afraid of being overheard no matter what we say? Can we say what we wanted to say before?" Shao Jie asked.

Everyone turned to look at Li Xiao, waiting for her answer.

Li Xiao got off Cheng Shaolin's lap and sat on the sofa, leaning back against the sofa before she began to speak.

Where were we that day?

Shao Jie remembered this clearly and hurriedly said, "I know, I know. You mentioned that there was something we could know. You were about to say it when you realized someone was eavesdropping."

Li Xiao nodded, "Yes, actually, only a very small portion was given away. There's still a lot that can't be given away."

Everyone looked at each other in bewilderment, except for Cheng Shaolin.

Cheng Shaolin had a general understanding of the situation, although Li Xiao hadn't told him anything. But he could guess a little bit from Li Xiao's behavior and snippets of conversation.

Hearing Li Xiao say this, I wasn't too shocked.

"So, what else did you leave behind?" Yu Yanbin was still more concerned about this.

Li Xiao smiled gently.

When everyone saw her like this, they began to have their own guesses, and their hearts were in their throats.

“Your few crates of gunpowder are nothing; I have better ones here.” He said, looking at the crowd.

"I know, you still have rocket launchers."

Li Xiao smiled, her eyes crinkling into a smile.

"what else?"

"Yes, stop being so mysterious, just tell me." The impatient Shao Jie was about to explode with urgency.

Li Xiao stopped teasing him and said, "There are some big guys that are not convenient to be seen in front of people right now."

Everyone: ………

"What do you mean by 'big guy'?" Shao Jie's words were a little unsteady, as he was unsure if it was what he was thinking.

"Cars, and tanks and stuff like that."

(⊙o⊙)!

…………! !

Everyone was shocked!

Everyone was dumbfounded, their mouths agape.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Even Yu Yanbin, a handsome man who was usually calm and collected, couldn't maintain his usual composure.

Not to mention the others, they all looked incredibly surprised.

"It means exactly what it says: what you take out are the simple things, what you keep are the things that can't be taken out."

Yu Yanbin took a deep breath, trying to calm the intense shock in his heart.

"Xiaoxiao, is what you said true?" Cheng Shaolin's face showed nothing, but he still couldn't believe it. "You said you went to the police station?"

Everyone turned to look at Li Xiao, waiting to see what she would say.

Li Xiao smiled and shook her head. "No."

"Where is that?"

No one could guess where Li Xiao had taken these things from.

Only Cheng Shaolin had a clue.

He had heard her mention it when he found her, but she had evaded the question.

It seems she wasn't telling the truth back then.

Thinking of this, Cheng Shaolin looked at Li Xiao with a meaningful gaze.

Li Xiao felt rather embarrassed by his gaze.

I did lie to him back then.

She glanced at Cheng Shaolin, who merely lifted his eyelids to look at her without saying anything.

Li Xiao understood, and he was waiting to say what would happen next.

Li Xiao wasn't afraid at all. She made the decision based on the situation at the time, and she didn't do anything wrong, so there was nothing to say.

What followed was the same thing, and Li Xiao knew it very well.

"At the time, they raided a military base."

"What?!"

Several incredulous, high-pitched voices rang out at once.

They all remembered something and immediately suppressed their emotions, controlling their shocked expressions.

"The base?" Shao Jie lowered his voice, stood up, and looked incredulous.

"Yes, we came across a military base and took all the weapons inside."

The hissing sounds rose and fell.

"A base?" Yu Yanbin's eyes lit up, then he asked, "What else do you have?"

"For escaping. The ones I sent out were from the zombies I promised to let me go. I wanted to put these things to good use."

"What?! Let you leave? Zombies?!" Cheng Shaolin exclaimed in shock. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Li Xiao looked at the hand gripping her arm; the veins were bulging.

"Brother, it's okay. I was just scaring myself. It wasn't as scary as I thought."

"What exactly happened?" Cheng Shaolin still wouldn't let it go.

Li Xiao is too bold; she never tells him anything, and he always finds out later.

"Yes, what happened? Tell me."

Li Xiao then recounted what had happened the day before, which surprised everyone.

"I can't believe this can happen, it's so surprising," Tian Tian said to Qiu Fengyu.

Qiu Fengyu felt the same way and nodded in agreement.

"Ah, life is unpredictable. But these people are even more respectable." Meng Yang felt a pang of sadness after hearing this. Some people are alive, but their souls are dead; some people are dead, but their souls live on forever.

Why is there such a big difference when we're under the same blue sky?

“You’re right, some things can’t be shown in public.” Yu Yanbin now has no doubt about what Li Xiao has done, and even feels that he did the right thing.

The appearance of some things is not a good thing; it can even bring disaster.

Things that should be kept hidden should be kept hidden; it's better for everyone.

"You absolutely mustn't let anyone know about those things, not even a little bit." Cheng Shaolin reminded Li Xiao again, not wanting her to reveal any clues one day, as that might not benefit her in the slightest.

"I know, I wasn't planning to say it."

"Also, you all need to remember to forget what you heard today, lest you accidentally let it slip one day."

"Don't worry, we know what we're doing," Meng Yang assured on behalf of the others.

Cheng Shaolin nodded, "This matter could be a big deal or a small deal, don't blame me for always bringing it up. I have to think about Xiaoxiao."

"Shao Lin, you don't need to say anything, we understand. We don't want anything to happen to Xiao Xiao either, right?"

“Yes, Shaolin, Uncle Meng, we can tell the difference between good and bad.”

Xiao Peng spoke solemnly; besides Cheng Shaolin, he was the person who most protected Li Xiao.

"Well, thank you everyone."

"Look at what you're saying, aren't we comrades, aren't we teammates?"

“Yes, Vice Captain, we’re close partners who’ve been through thick and thin together. Isn’t that right, Xiaoxiao?” Tian Tian said with a smile, pulling Li Xiao close and putting her arm around her shoulder.

"Wow, Xiaoxiao is amazing! She can fit so many things in there. She's so damn good at it."

Shao Jie's unintentional sigh immediately diverted everyone's attention.
