Chapter 6 The Big Boss Appears

"Ah, what time will you come?"

"It will arrive in half a month."

"Yeah, okay."

"Where do you live?"

"Guesthouse, I've already booked a room in advance."

"Um."

The conversation was like that of strangers, and the atmosphere was awkward. Song Qi went out again and stood in the corridor smoking.

I remembered what Ling Yong said today.

Ling Ju was sick when she was a child and often had a fever. She took a lot of medicine and spent a lot of money, but her health got worse day by day, but the cause could not be found.

The family had even started preparing for the funeral, but by chance, a country doctor came in to ask for water. Seeing that there was a patient at home, he took the patient's pulse and said it was a heart disease. The family didn't know what kind of heart disease a 7-year-old child could have and thought the doctor was talking nonsense.

The doctor then wrote a prescription and left it, telling Ling's parents that if the medicine didn't work after three days, they could then prepare for his funeral.

Ling's parents tried everything they could to save Ling Ju, and unexpectedly, Ling Ju actually got better, but his weight kept increasing day by day. He obviously didn't eat much, and going to the hospital for a check-up yielded no results. So they just kept taking care of him, and slowly, there was no difference between Ling Ju and other children, except that he was a little fatter than other children and couldn't remember anything that happened before he was 7 years old.

After becoming an adult, Ling Yong joined the army and also took on the family expenses, allowing his sister to finish high school.

After that, Ling Ju came to visit her relatives in the army. Ling's parents asked Ling Yong to find a good family for Ling Ju to marry, or find her a job to stay here.

Ling Yong was surprised and surprised that Ling Ju had found a husband and a job for herself. Of course, he apologized to Song Qi for finding a husband and even said that even if Song Qi wanted to divorce in the future, he would support him.

He felt that his sister had changed since coming here, not like the Ling Ju of the past, but that person was still Ling Ju, and he couldn't figure it out. But he liked the Ling Ju now very much, she would joke with him and even liked to laugh.

After finishing a cigarette, he sat and thought for a long time. It was already dark. When he returned to the room, Ling Ju was already lying on the bed, and Song Qi had also returned to his own bed on the other side of the curtain.

After spending some time together, I found that Ling Ju was not an unreasonable person. In fact, most of the time he was very tolerant and had a calm personality. He was very different from the Ling Ju who forced himself on that day.

Thinking of the feeling of that day, my body suddenly felt a little restless. I looked at the bed across from me through the curtain, wondering how long this confusing marriage could last.

The next morning, Ling Ju arrived at the factory early. After breakfast, she boiled water and made tea before starting work. In those days, before computers or cell phones, work relied not only on memory but also on her own poor writing.

I have read the information Hu Wei gave me seven or eight times, and I can tell the parameters of each kind of goods without even looking through the documents. I also have to attend the employee training later.

The training was held in the conference room on the 4th floor. The conference room was quite large and could accommodate about 100 people. There were about 100 people in the entire factory. When I arrived at the 4th floor, I saw Hu Wei busy, so I went over to help set up the podium.

"Sister Lingju, the boss will be here today."

"I've been here for so long and haven't seen the boss yet. Have you seen him, Brother Hu?"

"The boss is quite young, a genuine second-generation Red. His mother's side is in business. He has a very straight-forward appearance and is tall. However, he doesn't smile much and seems rather serious."

"The second generation of the red family, this background is indeed powerful." No wonder he could smell the scent of openness.

The two chatted, made tea for the leader, prepared the microphone, and followed Hu Wei to the door to direct the workers to enter one after another.

After all the workers were seated, Ling Ju found an empty seat and opened his notebook. Warm applause erupted from the audience. Song Wei entered the room.

On the podium in the conference room, there was a man who was about 27 or 28 years old. He was tall, wearing a navy blue suit, had a flat head, and deep facial features, giving people a feeling of shrewdness and depth.

He's a serious person, as expected. But why does he look so familiar? I feel like I've seen him before.

Today is the employee training meeting. After Song Wei finished his speech, each department introduced their functions, personnel, and Xingxing’s corporate culture.

This factory turned out to be Song Wei's own business, without any shareholders or anything like that.

Ling Ju curled her lips. There are rich people in every era.

After more than an hour of training, Ling Ju returned to the office after lunch.

The phone on the table never rang. I wonder what Gu Desheng was thinking.

Process orders, go to the workshop to check production status, and go home after get off work.

Two days passed unknowingly, and Gu Desheng still hadn't called. Ling Ju became a little anxious.

I stood up and stretched my muscles by the window, but saw a car driving in through the gate. It was Gu Desheng's car!

He immediately called Hu Wei to go downstairs to greet him.

Hu Wei smiled broadly and went to shake hands with Gu Desheng. "Boss Gu, I've been waiting for your call these past two days. I didn't expect you to come in person."

"I came here today with sincerity. It's better to talk to you face to face than to be so cold over the phone."

"Okay, please come to my office. I'll make a pot of tea and we can sit down and talk."

They went to Hu Wei's office again, filled their cups with tea, but Ling Ju didn't sit down. Gu Desheng had brought two more people with him, and since there were only two sofas and two chairs in the room, she would just stand.

"I'm a straightforward person. I'll be frank. 5,000 sets are fine, but you have to give me a 3.5 percentage point discount and give me 100 sets of samples. I'll pay half in advance, and the balance after the goods arrive. You two can discuss it, and if it's okay, we can sign the contract today."

Hu Wei and Ling Ju looked at each other, left the office and went to Ling Ju's room.

"I'll call Secretary Chen and ask the boss what he thinks."
