187. Chapter 187: Caring Little Baby

Chapter 187: Intimate Baby

But who can blame her for being short of money now? Besides, she is also happy to deal with Qiu Qianghai.

For the sake of her future baby and their subsequent schooling, she now makes a living by selling ginseng.

It’s really embarrassing to say that I have worked so hard for so long, not only did I not make any money, but in the end I ended up selling wild ginseng.

When Gu Jin was sighing, Qiu Qianghai said that he would transfer the money to her card tomorrow.

"Can."

Gu Jin nodded and glanced at the clock on the wall. It was already half past three.

She was about to ask him to see her off when Qiu Qianghai spoke again: "Ms. Gu, may I ask you which school you will attend in Wanhai City?"

"I didn't take the exam, so I plan to go to the No. 1 Middle School in the city at my own expense."

The cost of going to the No. 1 Middle School in the city is at least five or six thousand yuan.

Qiu Qianghai couldn't help but understand.

He stroked his smooth chin and asked, "Does that mean Miss Gu hasn't completed the admission procedures yet?"

These days, it is impossible to enter a school at your own expense. You need to pay a huge fee to get in, and it is unaffordable for an average family even if they spend all their money.

Gu Jin nodded gently: "Yes."

"Then why not let me handle this matter? My nephew is in the No. 1 Middle School in the city."

"That's a coincidence." Gu Jin smiled.

Seeing that she didn't refuse, Qiu Qianghai asked again: "Miss Gu's brother also wants to study in Wanhai?"

Gu Jin narrowed his eyes and said without any hesitation: "Yes, why don't you do it together with Brother Hai? I can save myself the trouble of running around. I'll treat you to a meal when it's done."

"Okay, I'll get it done for you tomorrow."

"Okay, thank you for your concern, Brother Hai."

"It's no big deal."

Feeling the suppressed effects of the alcohol were about to rise again, Qiu Qianghai muttered a few words and left the room holding the ginseng.

Haijiang Hotel originally belonged to him, and he had his own room here.

Gu Jin walked the person out the door, closed the door, and went back to his room to sleep.

The next day, under the sunlight, Gu Jin slowly opened his eyes.

The sunlight was so bright that she had to open her eyes.

I looked around, but the kid was gone.

She got up, walked to the bathroom in her slippers.

After she finished washing up and changed into clean and neat casual clothes, she opened the door and found that the little guy was not in the living room.

Looking at the clock on the wall, it was already eight o'clock.

“Gurgle…”

My stomach started playing the empty city trick.

Gu Jin walked towards the kitchen while rubbing his stomach.

As soon as he walked into the kitchen, he heard the sound of the hotel room key turning the door. Gu Jin walked out of the kitchen and tilted his head to look towards the door.

The door of the hotel room was opened from the outside, and a kid holding a plastic bag appeared in front of him.

"You're out."

An Mingji looked in the direction of the voice and saw Gu Jin standing in the kitchen.

He walked into the room with food in his hand, hummed, and raised the bag in his hand.

"Sister Jin, I bought the buns you like."

Looking at the bag in the kid's hand, Gu Jin couldn't stop smiling.

What a thoughtful little baby, he brought her buns just when she was hungry.

Seeing that she wanted to eat, An Mingji carried the bag to the table in front of the sofa and placed the buns, soy milk, tea eggs, and pickles on the table.

Gu Jin walked towards the kid, sat down on the sofa, and picked up a bun to eat.

The meat and fresh bun was full of soup when she bit into it. She finished the bun in her hand in one breath and picked up another one.

While she was eating, An Mingji went to the kitchen to wash two cups and poured the still hot soy milk into them.
