Chapter 154 This person can deal with

"this……"

"cough--"

Li Jing was about to speak when Lin Zhou coughed violently behind her.

Li Jing turned around and glared at her, then turned back and smiled at her: "No, I was just kidding!"

"Oh, you guys go ahead and do your work. I won't bother you anymore...." It was getting dark outside. Tian Xin saw that Lin Zhou was still looking at the information, so she handed the mouse to Li Jing.

"Hey, you have to leave!"

"Well, you guys are busy!"

Tian Xin turned around and smiled at her, then walked over to Lin Zhou and said, "How about I go first and you guys get busy?"

"No rush," Lin Zhou closed the file, turned around and shouted to Li Jing, "It's just right that you're here today, just talk to her directly! It saves me from having to find another time!"

"Okay, tell me! I'd like to get to know Tian Xin." Li Jing turned off the computer, walked over and extended her hand to Tian Xin: "Formally introduce myself, I'm Li Jing, Lin Zhou's childhood friend!"

"Oh, I'm Tian Xin, from Lin Zhou..." She hesitated for a moment and then said, "Friend!"

"Hahahaha..." Li Jing heard her say friends and turned around to laugh at Lin Zhou: "Friends? You two say the same thing!"

The two of them didn't think anything of it at first, but when she said that, Tian Xin suddenly felt weird, as if something was wrong.

Li Jing ignored the awkwardness on their faces and walked straight to the sofa. She poured a cup of tea for everyone and acted like the host: "Don't just stand there. Come and sit down!"

Seeing her relaxed attitude, Tian Xin didn't hesitate and walked over to sit next to her. Lin Zhou went out and talked to the staff outside. After a while, a few people brought in some snacks and placed them on the coffee table.

Li Jing glanced at him, her eyes suddenly shining: "Not bad, Lin Zhou, after not seeing you for a few years, you are still as thoughtful as ever!"

On the coffee table was a plate of peanuts, a stack of chicken feet, some duck necks, grilled skewers, and so on. Li Jing didn't treat the two of them as outsiders at all. As soon as the food was on the table, she pinched a duck neck and handed it to them: "Come on, don't be polite, eat!"

Tian Xin was stunned. She thought she was usually careless and didn't pay much attention to her table manners when eating. But compared to Li Jing, she was still far behind.

Seeing that she was still hesitant to take it, Li Jing stuffed the duck neck into her hands, puffed out her cheeks and chewed while saying: "Lin Zhou usually likes to hold it in his hands and eats very slowly, not like a man. You are not like that too, are you?"

"Ah?" Tian Xin was a little amused and immediately glanced at Lin Zhou. Lin Zhou's face was already dark: "What do you mean by eating slowly doesn't look like a man? You don't look like a woman like this either!"

She couldn't help but laugh out loud, never expecting that Lin Zhou would be forced to confront others.

Li Jing ignored him and pushed the can next to her: "Hey, help me open it!"

"It's so late, and you're still drinking?" Tian Xin frowned as she looked at the beer in her hand.

"What's the big deal? As someone from the Northwest, how boring would life be without some wine and meat in the evening?"

She gnawed on the duck neck and drank a sip of beer, her mouth full but she kept talking: "You have no idea how miserable I was during those years away."

Seeing that Tian Xin hadn't eaten, she nudged her with her elbow: "Why are you holding it? Are you imitating him?"

She raised her eyes and glared at Lin Zhou: "Don't imitate him, it's boring!"

Tian Xin was completely convinced. This guy was really good. She simply stopped pretending and picked up the duck neck that Li Jing handed over and started chewing it. She opened a glass of beer and said, "Come on, let's have one!"

Li Jing was very satisfied with her performance: "That's right! I'm telling you, this is how you should eat duck neck, don't be so polite..."

Lin Zhou leaned back in his chair, his hands folded, watching the two people across from him chewing duck necks with their mouths dripping with oil and exchanging their experiences. He was suddenly speechless: "Hey, can we talk about business now? What are you doing here?"

"What's the rush?" Li Jing raised her beer and clinked glasses with Tian Xin. "It's rare to meet someone who gets along with me, and you won't let us have a good time communicating? You're being too nosy, right? So who is that?"

Tian Xin nodded repeatedly: "Yes, yes, I like you too! My name is Tian Xin, not that guy!" She emphasized it deliberately.

"See, what did I say?" Li Jing raised her chin towards Lin Zhou: "You're the only one who doesn't know how to appreciate."

She turned around and clinked glasses with Tian Xin again, then spoke with great enthusiasm: "Tian Xin, I, Li Jing...hiccup...have made you my friend!"

"Consider this my gift to you. In the future, if you need my help, just let me know! As long as I can do it, I will never... hiccup...be vague!" She pointed at the folder in front of Lin Zhou with her finger pinching the duck's neck.

This series of words and hiccups almost made Tian Xin laugh to death.

Her long curly hair fell to her waist, and her long, lively eyelashes flickered up and down with her eyes, which was particularly beautiful under the light. The green sweater she was wearing was a slim fit, which matched her slender waist perfectly.

But at this moment, in order to gnaw on the duck neck, she rolled up her sleeves to her elbows, revealing the white shirt underneath, breaking this balance. Who would have thought that such a beautiful woman would have such a side?

Tian Xin suddenly felt that they had met too late. If they had known each other since college, how much happier they would have been.

"Hey, Li Jing, where did you go to college?" Tian Xin picked up the wine glass and clinked it with Li Jing again.

"Magic City!" Li Jing sighed. "Although it's a big city, it's really boring."

"What do you mean?" Tian Xin asked curiously.

"I've been in that hellhole for five years and haven't met many people I can get along with. Maybe I'm just not used to it!" She put down the duck neck in her hand, wiped her hands, and recalled with a beer in her hand: "Those people are so stingy and realistic. Unlike us here, as long as there's wine and meat, everyone is happy!"

As she spoke, she tilted her head back and took another sip. Seeing that the wine was almost empty, she reluctantly tilted her head back again until there was not a drop left. Then she threw the can aside in disgust, frowning and saying, "It's so boring!"

"Go, go, buy some more!" She ordered Lin Zhou: "It's a rare opportunity to drink, why are you like those people, so stingy!"

Tian Xin quickly took out another can from the bag beside her, opened it, and handed it to her: "There's more!"

"That's right, so cool!" Li Jing took another sip.

Lin Zhou had been leaning back in his chair with his arms folded for a long time, watching Li Jing and Tian Xin chat. At this point, he couldn't help himself: "Hey, that's enough, let's get down to business!"

"Why are you so impatient? We haven't even started yet." Li Jing glanced at him.

Lin Zhou raised his chin towards the window and said, "Look at the time."

Outside the window, thousands of lights are ablaze, and I can faintly hear DJ music emanating from the square. The city's nightlife is a bit less vibrant than the Old Town's; by this time, most people have already eaten dinner and gather in the square to dance, sing, and practice Tai Chi.

Li Jing was slightly stunned for a moment, put down the can in her hand, and smiled awkwardly: "It's indeed a bit late!"

"Okay, let's get down to business!"

She reached out and took the folder in front of her, then turned to Tian Xin and said, "Sister, today's timing is not right, so let's stop drinking here. When you're free some other time, come find me and we'll get drunk together!"
