Chapter 210 Zhang Ying (2)

Chapter 210 Zhang Ying (2)

Tian Xin had a vague impression of Zhang Ying. She only vaguely remembered that she had married and moved far away a long time ago and she had never seen her again.

Aunt Zhang had only one daughter. After she married far away, she had repeatedly expressed her longing for her daughter to Li Aiying. However, Zhang Ying married so far away that it took several days of train travel to get here. Both families found it troublesome and only visited her once, when Zhang Ying gave birth, and had not seen her since.

Only after listening to Li Aiying's introduction did she remember that there was indeed such a person.

"Oh, I remember now. It's Sister Zhang Ying! She used to braid my hair when I was a kid!"

"You remember all this!" Zhang Ying seemed surprised that she remembered this, and came towards her with a small stool.

Tian Xin saw her coming over and exchanged a few pleasantries before changing the subject to other people: "What brings you guys here today?"

Seeing her ask this, several people looked at each other, and one of them spoke up: "Xinxin, we didn't want to trouble you." She said politely: "Since the online store opened, you've been running around all by yourself, and we've caused you a lot of trouble. We really can't bear it."

"It's okay, just say what you want to say!" Tian Xin said.

The man glanced at Zhang Ying and said hesitantly, "There have been so many returns these days, and the courier fee is so expensive! We can't afford it if we keep returning goods like this!"

A few of me looked online today, and customers all said our clothes were too tacky and not classy. I thought we should go out and look for the latest trends and improve our designs.

"It's good that you discovered this problem, but haven't you all visited all the wholesale markets nearby? Have you decided where to look?" Tian Xin asked.

Tian Lei glanced at Zhang Ying and replied, "Xinxin, we've been living in this little cave in the mountains, and we don't know what's happening outside. Today, Zhang Ying told me that people over there are doing wholesale clothing business, with a large supply and low prices. We thought we'd go and have a look. If it works, we'll buy from outside in the future."

"Out of town?" Tian Xin was startled. She turned to look at Zhang Ying and asked, "Sister, is your home close to Yiwu City?"

"Yes!" Zhang Ying smiled and said, "It's because we're close to Yiwu that we've been doing clothing wholesale! The market has changed so rapidly in recent years, especially since we started selling online. Traditional businesses have been on the decline!"

Downhill?

Tian Xin thought: "We're just getting started! In a few years, it won't just be a decline, it'll be a monopoly!"

But she could only say this in her heart, and remained calm and composed on the surface.

"Xinxin also knows Yiwu?" Tian Lei asked.

"I know. I did some research before opening the online store." Tian Xin turned to the others and said, "Yiwu is currently the largest wholesale market in China. Countless people go there to do business every year. There are many opportunities, and it's relatively easy to do business. If you really want to find a source of goods there, I can make a trip!"

It’s a good opportunity to explore the route as well! Tian Xin thought.

"You've never been away from home before. How can you go to such a far place by yourself?" Li Aiying interrupted when she heard this.

"What's wrong with that? It's very convenient to take the train! I'll be back in a week at most! At worst, I can find someone to go with me!" said Tian Xin.

"It's so far, who are you going to go with you? It's almost summer harvest time, who's available to go with you?" Li Aiying's voice was so anxious she raised her voice. "Your sister Zhang Ying is here these days, so if you have any questions, just ask her. If you need to ship something, isn't it the same if she comes back and checks it out before sending it to you?"

"How can they be the same?" Zhang Ying turned to Li Aiying and said, "Auntie, you don't understand. Clothes these days are not like they used to be. They only care about warmth, affordability, and wearability. Young people now buy clothes first and foremost to look good and keep up with the trend. If they don't look good, no one will buy them no matter how cheap they are!"

She turned around and looked Tian Xin up and down at her clothes, and said, "Look, Xinxin's clothes are very fashionable! They are completely different from what we used to wear."

Tian Xin wore a pure white short-sleeved shirt today, paired with a knee-length denim straight skirt and a pair of canvas shoes. It wasn't exactly fashionable, but rather simple and elegant. But it was her favorite style, so it looked okay.

When Li Aiying heard Zhang Ying say this, she didn't know what to do next and just looked at Tian Xin angrily.

The others immediately felt that what they had just said was a bit abrupt, and they hurriedly explained to Li Aiying: "Forget it, we can go and see it ourselves when we are not busy. It's not urgent..."

"That's right, that's right. Xinxin is just a little girl, and I'm really worried about her going so far away alone. Let's wait!"

"Or we can wait until autumn..." After a few people chattered, they immediately discussed a countermeasure, and then said goodbye to Tian Xin and Li Aiying and left.

Tian Xin knew that these people would wait for her return today, and the problem was definitely not as simple as it seemed. Since they were able to find Zhang Ying, they must have discussed it all afternoon and were just waiting for her to come back to confirm it.

Even if they hadn't mentioned it today, she had wanted to go to Yiwu for a long time, and now was the right time!

Thinking of this, she immediately stopped a few people, turned around and asked Zhang Ying: "Sister, when are you going back? I'll go with you then!"

Zhang Ying didn't expect her to ask this out of the blue, and her face was slightly embarrassed: "Xinxin, I...may not be going back for the time being. I have to stay at my parents' for a while!"

"Oh, that's right," Tian Xin realized, "It's a rare trip back home, so I have to stay longer!"

"It's okay, I have classmates over there. It will be the same if they accompany me. Don't worry, everyone." She turned and said to the others.

"Mom, don't worry!" She smiled and comforted Li Aiying.

Now that things had come to this, Li Aiying had no choice but to nod in agreement.

Seeing that their goal had been achieved, the others did not stay any longer. They said goodbye to the mother and daughter and left.

Only Zhang Ying remained sitting on the stool and did not leave.

It was almost 10 o'clock, and the families next door had already locked their doors and gone indoors to sleep.

Aunt Zhang's house was just opposite hers, and the door was still open.

Seeing that Zhang Ying seemed to have something to say, Tian Xin told Li Aiying to go into the house and sleep.

As soon as Li Aiying entered the house, Aunt Zhang called out to her at the door: "It's already this late, why aren't you back yet?"

Zhang Ying frowned and shouted towards the door, "I'm back!" Then she turned and looked at Tian Xin again: "Xinxin, it's too late today, so I won't disturb you to rest. When you are free, come to my house, I want to talk to you!"

"Oh, okay!"

Seeing Tian Xin agreed, she immediately smiled at Tian Xin and turned into the yard opposite.

When Tian Xin saw that the door opposite was closed, she locked her own door and slowly walked back to her room.

I don't know why? This was the first time I saw Zhang Ying in many years, but the smile she gave her just now made her feel an indescribable sense of familiarity.

Zhang Ying was already in her thirties, and her face was no longer youthful, with a hint of the vicissitudes of middle age. There was a hint of bitterness in that smile.
