Chapter 40 Letter
"I should have seen it when she came to see me that day, but I didn't see anything and she just left like that? I really am..." Gao Cheng slapped himself.
"She came to see you. When?" Tian Xin grabbed Gao Cheng and asked.
"A week ago, probably before we went back!"
"So what did she say? What did she tell you?"
"She only said one sentence," Gao Cheng recalled.

It wasn't that she didn't want to sleep last night, she was really mad at Gao Cheng.
The meaning of Gao Wen's letter to her was very clear. Gao Cheng, such a smart man, just didn't understand. Maybe he did understand, but as he said, he didn't dare.
Gao Wen's company is in the city center, so Gao Cheng went there early in the morning and waited for his senior sister to come to work downstairs.

Tian Xin knocked on the car window, and Gao Cheng rolled down the window and greeted her.
"Why are you here? Didn't we agree to wait?"

He got out of the car and stretched his body. Zhang Shuai offered him a cigarette, but he rejected it: "Thank you, I don't smoke!"
Zhang Shuai lit a cigarette for himself and squatted on the curb. Gao Cheng walked over and squatted next to him, and the two of them chatted casually.
Tian Xin stood behind them, watching the crowds pouring in from the intersection. The morning rush hour was truly terrifying. Gao Wen worked in a high-end office building.
After a while, a girl wearing a business suit and a down jacket walked towards Gao Cheng in the crowd.
"Here? Been waiting for a long time?" The girl came over to greet Gao Cheng, and seeing Tian Xin behind him, she asked, "Are you Tian Xin?"

Gao Cheng held the letter, looking at the familiar handwriting on the envelope, his hands trembling. He looked in the direction where his senior sister left, his eyes blank!
"Tear it down! What are you hesitating about?" Tian Xin urged.
"Come on, get in the car quickly and read the letter to me on the way!" Gao Cheng turned and ran towards the car.
Tian Xin wanted Zhang Shuai to go back to the village early, but Zhang Shuai refused, saying, "I'm worried about you going all the way to such a far place with this guy. I want to go with you!"
"Okay then, you follow behind, I'll be in the same car with him! Let's discuss with him on the way what to say after we get there!" Tian Xin turned around and got into Gao Cheng's car.
Tian Xin opened the letter while Gao Cheng was driving with his hands shaking.
No one knew what he was thinking about, and he didn't say a word along the way.
Tian Xin opened the letter, but before she opened it, a "heart-shaped origami" made of a hundred-yuan bill fell out of the envelope!
Gao Cheng took a glance and slammed on the brakes, stopping the car halfway.
