Chapter 7 Turning the Tide
Village committee office.
Tian Fushun was discussing the appointment of village officials with several village committee members.
"We can't deny our child's efforts just because of a few rumors that came out of nowhere. He's already passed the assessment, and now we're just waiting for the county's approval and appointment notice. What rumors are you listening to at this time?"
"Director, don't get too excited. The appointment letter hasn't come down yet, which means there's plenty of room for maneuver! Before things get serious, we should quickly nip it in the bud to avoid more trouble later! It'll be hard to deal with!"

Before entering the office, Tian Xin heard a quarrel in the yard.
When I walked into the office, I saw that the people talking were Tian Fushun and the deputy director of the village committee. Also sitting next to them were the accountant, the director of women's affairs, and other village committee members.

The person who said this was the deputy director, surnamed Liu! She knew him, but not very well! From the tone of his words, it seemed like he had bad intentions!

"Illegal origins, problems with the assessment? Where did you hear all this? It's sheer nonsense! Uncle Tian, Aunt Li, do you believe this?"
What a mess! Do those who say this have no brains? Are you questioning the county's assessment?
"Now it's not a question of whether to believe it or not. These remarks have already affected the work in the village. If this continues, it will be difficult to carry out future work in the village, so..." Deputy Director Liu said firmly!
"So, you want to find someone to replace me?" Tian Xin interrupted Deputy Director Liu.
