Chapter 356 Going to the Market to Buy Fireworks
After dinner, Shen Xuewei and the Chu brothers visited other villagers.
Previously, on New Year's Day, Chu Fu bought fireworks to burn.

Hearing the words drifting from behind, Shen Xuewei glanced back and immediately saw the worry and unease on Chu De'an's face.
"What are you afraid of? I'm here for you, your sister. I bought the things, your aunt and uncle won't say anything."
Chu De'an thought about it and agreed, so he felt relieved.
A tricycle loaded with fireworks stopped in front of the Chu family's house.
Grandpa Chu was lying on a recliner by the door, basking in the sun, when he heard the noise and opened his eyes, just in time to see a truckload of fireworks.
He sat up abruptly from the recliner. "Why did you buy so many fireworks?"
Shen Xuewei got out of the car and said with a smile, "It's not the New Year, we just want to make the house lively. Burning a few every day is just right."
Chu De'an and Chu Dexi were already struggling to unload things from the car, and they didn't forget to call on Grandpa Chu for help.
"Grandpa, come help us move our things. We need to return this car to Uncle Jianhua later."
Grandpa Chu stood up, supporting himself on the handrail, and walked over.
"Hey, stop shouting, I'm coming, I'm coming."
The four of them busied themselves carrying everything into the house.
Shen Xuewei got back on the tricycle and drove it back to Liu Jianhua.
When Chu Fu and Chen Fangli returned from their respective chores, they saw the pile of fireworks in the room and noticed the guilty-looking Chu De'an and his brother. They were about to ask what had happened.
Shen Xuewei peeked out of the room as she typed on her computer keyboard.
"Second Aunt, Second Uncle, I bought the fireworks."
The two swallowed back the words they were about to say.
Chu Fu muttered, "Oh dear, all this money is going to be burned like this, what a waste..."
However, seeing his two sons looking at the fireworks with great joy, he didn't continue the conversation.
After all, it was Shen Xuewei who bought it out of kindness, and it didn't cost Chu Fu any money. He couldn't be ungrateful for the benefits he received.
During the Spring Festival, fireworks were set off at night, and a group of village children looked at Chu Dexi with envy, making him the center of their attention.
