Chapter 29 Leisure

The bright and warm light penetrates through the layers of branches and leaves, and falls on the ground like broken gold, bringing vitality to the entire space.

Looking down, what comes into view is a fertile and rich land.

A variety of vegetables thrive here, presenting a colorful and vibrant scene.

The juicy green cabbages are arranged neatly. Their leaves are broad and thick, as bright in color as emerald, shining with an alluring luster.

Each leaf seems to contain endless vitality, and the slight trembling seems to be telling the wonderful mysteries of nature.

There was also a group of fat and strong geese, walking slowly and gracefully by the pond.

Sometimes they stretch their necks, look up to the sky, and make loud and clear calls, the sound resounding through the clouds, as if to show their existence and pride to the world.

Lin Zhiyue shuttled through this space and first came to the livestock pen.

She skillfully selected several plump sheep and two fat and strong pigs. Under her careful care, the meat of these livestock was tender and juicy. She skillfully slaughtered and processed them in one go, and soon the processed meat was neatly stacked aside.

Then she came to the vegetable area, squatted down, held the roots of the cabbage with both hands, and pulled gently. The plump cabbages were pulled out by the roots. She shook off the dirt on the cabbage and put it into a bamboo basket beside her.
