Chapter 60 Excellent

Director Song looked at the villagers busy in the fields and the brand new harvester, his heart full of emotion. He turned to Lin Zhiyue and said, "Girl, you see, we have tested this harvester, and the effect is obvious to all. This harvester will stay in your village, so that the villagers can use it first and feel the convenience it brings."

He paused for a moment, his eyes full of expectation, and continued, "But you have a more important task. You have to go to the machinery factory and teach the workers in the factory the drawings, principles, and techniques of this harvester without reservation. Only in this way can the factory mass-produce this harvester so that more farmers can use it and bring this convenience to the farmland of thousands of households."

Lin Zhiyue listened to Director Song's words and understood the great significance of them.

Without any hesitation, she agreed immediately with a serious look on her face: "Good uncle, I understand the importance of this matter. Don't worry, I will teach the masters in the factory everything I should teach. Let's go, I will follow you back to the county machinery factory now."

The team leader heard this conversation and walked forward, holding Lin Zhiyue's hand tightly, and said excitedly: "Girl, thanks to you! This harvester is a great treasure for our village. If we can have more such machines in the future, our village will definitely get better and better. Go to the machinery factory and teach well. Don't worry about the village, I'm here to take care of it."

Lin Zhiyue's eyes were slightly moist, and she nodded vigorously: "Uncle, don't worry, I will definitely get things done. If there are any problems in the village, please feel free to contact me." After that, she said goodbye to the villagers around her one by one. The villagers sent their blessings and told her to take care of herself.

Afterwards, Lin Zhiyue, Director Song and others got on the return bus.

Back at the machinery factory, the afterglow of the setting sun had dyed the factory area golden.

Director Song walked hurriedly all the way and brought Lin Zhiyue to the staff dormitory area.

He pushed open the door of a clean and tidy room, smiled and said to Lin Zhiyue: "Girl, this will be your residence in the factory from now on. Just live here steadily and teach the workers in our factory with peace of mind. If you need anything, just let me know."

The room was not big, but it was neatly arranged, with a single bed, a desk and a wardrobe, simple but practical. Lin Zhiyue walked into the room, looked around, and thanked him repeatedly with gratitude in her heart.

Director Song followed in and stood in the middle of the room. He looked serious, took out an envelope from his pocket and handed it to Lin Zhiyue, saying, "Girl, I didn't give you this blueprint for nothing. There is 2,000 yuan in this envelope, which will be the cost of buying the blueprint for you. You have put so much effort into this matter, you deserve a reward."

Lin Zhiyue looked at the envelope handed to her, was slightly stunned, and a hint of hesitation flashed in her eyes.

This 2,000 yuan is not a small amount of money for her.

But she made the harvester with the sole purpose of reducing the burden on her fellow villagers and never thought of making a profit from it.

But on second thought, Director Song's kindness was not only a recognition of her work achievements, but would also make her life easier in her future studies.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Zhiyue raised his head, took the envelope with both hands, and said sincerely: "Okay, uncle, I'll take it. I will use this money well, and I will continue to work hard in the future to contribute to the factory and more people."

Director Song nodded with satisfaction and patted Lin Zhiyue on the shoulder: "Okay, girl, do a good job. Tomorrow morning, I will arrange for the workers to go to the conference room, and you can tell everyone about the ins and outs of this harvester."

After saying that, Director Song turned and left, leaving Lin Zhiyue alone in the room.

In the machinery factory, Lin Zhiyue started a busy life of working around the clock.

Every morning, before the first ray of sunlight fully illuminates the factory, she has already gotten up, carrying thick drawings and notes, and hurried to the meeting room.

The workers had already taken their seats in an orderly manner, their eyes full of desire for new knowledge.

Lin Zhiyue stood on the podium, explaining the drawings of the harvester in an easy-to-understand manner. She patiently and meticulously analyzed everything from the design principles of each component to the exquisiteness of the overall structure.

When she encountered complicated issues, she would pick up the chalk and draw and demonstrate on the blackboard over and over again until the workers nodded to show their understanding.

After explaining the theoretical knowledge, she immediately led the workers to the workshop.

Next to the harvester that served as a "model", she personally operated it and demonstrated how to accurately install parts and debug machine parameters.

Her hands moved flexibly between the machine parts. While operating them, she loudly reminded people of the precautions. Her voice became a little hoarse from the long explanation.

During the break, the workers surrounded her and threw various problems encountered in practical operations. Lin Zhiyue answered them one by one without any impatience.

On the other side, in the quiet village, several grandparents were sitting together in the cowshed, and the topic naturally turned to Lin Zhiyue.

Grandma Bai, with gray hair, smiled and spoke first: "Zhiyue is a very promising child! Look, she made that harvester and helped the village a lot." As she spoke, she gestured with her hands to show the shape of the harvester, her eyes full of pride, as if Lin Zhiyue was her own granddaughter.

Grandpa Lin nodded slightly, with wisps of green smoke coming out of the pipe in his hand. He took a deep breath and said slowly: "Yes, this child is smart, has a good brain, and is particularly persistent. We all know how tiring the autumn harvest is, but she is thinking about how to reduce the burden on everyone. She is so kind-hearted."

Grandma Lin sighed softly, with a hint of worry in her eyes: "I just don't know if she is doing well in the machinery factory. I heard that teaching those workers technology is not an easy task. I don't know if she eats well and is used to the living conditions."
