Cheng Haoyu didn't sleep the whole night. The doubts in his heart made him puzzled. Before he knew it, it was already dawn.
The soft sunlight shone through the window onto Zheng Xinyi. Xinyi subconsciously turned over, slowly opened her eyes, looked at the arms that had been around her, and was stunned for a moment, feeling a little dazed.
He frowned, shook his head slightly, and tried hard to recall all the events that happened last night.
"Are you awake?" Cheng Haoyu gently moved his sore and numb arms.
Zheng Xinyi glanced at him and said in an embarrassed tone: "I'm sorry, am I too heavy?"
"No, no." Cheng Haoyu came back to his senses and responded with a smile.
"Last night... was I a little out of control?" Zheng Xinyi lowered her head shyly.
"No, in fact, you should have told me these things a long time ago. You shouldn't have kept them in your heart." Cheng Haoyu said with a distressed tone while moving his arms.
A warm current flowed through Zheng Xinyi's blood throughout her body, and the corners of her mouth rose slightly. After venting last night, she felt much better.
"Xinyi, although I have lost my memory, I am still your man. You really don't need to handle many things by yourself. Otherwise, what use would you have me for? Promise me that you will not keep everything in your heart anymore. Tell me if there is anything in time and let me share it with you." Cheng Haoyu said in a soft tone.
Zheng Xinyi glanced at him, smiled and nodded.
"Your eyes are a little red and swollen. I'll get you some water to wash your face and apply a cold compress later. Don't let mom and dad see your red and swollen eyes. If they don't know, they might think I'm bullying you." As Cheng Haoyu was about to stand up, he felt a black screen in front of his eyes, and his whole body swayed unsteadily.
"Haoyu, what's wrong with you?" Zheng Xinyi realized something was wrong and reached out to support him: "Sit down and rest for a while."
Cheng Haoyu rubbed his temples and shook his head: "It's okay, I probably didn't sleep well last night, so I feel a little dizzy."
Zheng Xinyi raised her eyes and met his bloodshot eyes. She said with a distressed tone, "You didn't sleep all night, did you?"
"It's okay." Cheng Haoyu smiled slightly and got up to prepare water for Zheng Xinyi to wash her face.
"Don't move around. Lie down and take a nap. I'll wash your face myself." As she spoke, Zheng Xinyi helped him onto the kang.
"Xinyi, I'm really fine." Cheng Haoyu got off the kang at lightning speed, picked up the washbasin, pushed the door open and left.
Standing at the door, Cheng Haoyu breathed a sigh of relief and patted his chest with his hand. Ever since he closed his eyes last night and the figure of that girl flashed before his eyes, Cheng Haoyu has had a psychological trauma.
"Brother, what are you doing here?" Cheng Haoting suddenly came over and patted his shoulder.
Cheng Haoyu, who was in a daze, was frightened and shuddered.
"Brother, what's wrong with you? Why do you look so bad? Are you feeling unwell?" As she spoke, Cheng Haoting placed her concerned hand on his forehead.
Cheng Haoyu glanced at Cheng Haoting, not knowing how to respond for a moment.
At this moment, a scream suddenly came from the yard, saving Cheng Haoyu.
