Cheng Haoting had just come out of the convenience store when she met Zheng Xinyi's neighbor, who was muttering something while walking.
Cheng Haoting walked over curiously: "Aunt, what are you mumbling about?"
A neighbor of Xinyi's house looked up and saw Cheng Haoting. He pulled her aside and asked quietly, "Didn't your brother and Xinyi from the Zheng family break off their engagement?"
Cheng Haoting froze on the spot and smiled awkwardly: "Aunt, they broke off the engagement half a year ago. Why did you suddenly remember this?"
"I just saw your brother sending Xinyi home." Aunt said seriously.
Cheng Haoting was stunned for a moment, and said in a tone of disbelief: "Aunt, stop teasing me."
"Girl, why would your aunt lie to you?" Aunt was a little anxious.

Cheng Dayu rolled his eyes at her and said, "Why are you crying? Our son is home for the New Year, we should be smiling."
Zhang Fengrong reached out and wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes, nodding slightly: "Yes, your father is right, we should laugh, we should laugh."
"Son, you must be tired after sitting on the train for such a long time. Go and have a rest first. Mom will make you something delicious right away." As she spoke, Zhang Fengrong had already walked into the kitchen wearing an apron.

Cheng Haoting laughed mischievously, pointed at Cheng Haoyu, and asked in a questioning tone: "Brother, what's going on? Tell the truth."
Cheng Haoyu rolled his eyes at her and said, "You little girl, why are you asking so many questions? Just read your book."
Then he turned around and went into the house, lying on the kang to relax his body.
"Hey! Just leaving like that?" Cheng Haoting said with a pout, looking at the locked door.
Her words piqued Cheng Haoyang's interest: "Little sister, are you saying that Big Brother personally sent Sister Xinyi home?"
"Yes! Someone saw it with their own eyes." Cheng Haoting responded in detail: "I'll go to the kitchen to see if there is anything I can help with."
Cheng Haoting turned and went into the kitchen, leaving Cheng Haoyang standing alone in the hall, lost in thought. Hadn't they called off their engagement six months ago? Could it be that...?
