When Zheng Shaochun turned around, he bumped into Cuihua who was holding a winnowing basket in her arms. In fact, Zheng Shaochun felt helpless about his sister, but sometimes there was really nothing he could do.
Cuihua was naturally unhappy that her daughter had been wronged. She threw the dustpan in her hand to the ground with a clatter and complained casually, "You old Zheng family members are all ancestors. My children and I can't afford to offend them. Xinyi, remember to stay away from them as much as possible in the future, otherwise you will get into trouble."
"What are you talking about? Even if Shaoyun is wrong, she is still Xinyi's aunt. What's more, she came here specifically for her marriage." Zheng Shaochun waved the pipe in his hand.
"Hey, stop arguing, both of you." Zheng Xinyi felt really anxious.
After cleaning the room, Zheng Shaoyun never stepped out of the door again until Zheng Xinyi finished cooking dinner and everyone washed their hands and sat around the table. Then Zheng Shaochun said, "Xinyi, go call your aunt to come out for dinner."
Cuihua was annoyed and put the corn paste on the table with a bang.
Zheng Xinyi glanced at her. The atmosphere at home was very bad, so she didn't say much and got up obediently. But the moment she pushed open the door, she was stunned. The ground was covered with melon seed shells. Zheng Shaoyun was sitting cross-legged on the edge of the kang, still eating melon seeds.
Seeing Zheng Xinyi, she slowly raised her head with melon seed shells still on her lips: "What's wrong?"
Zheng Xinyi suppressed the anger in her heart: "It's time to eat."
After she finished speaking, Zheng Xinyi turned around and left. She really didn't want to stay here for even a minute.
"What did your aunt say?" Zheng Shaochun asked when he saw her walking over alone.
"Dad, why don't you go over and take a look yourself?" Zheng Xinyi said.
"This kid, I just asked you to go and ask her to have dinner, but you can't even figure it out." Zheng Shaochun rolled his eyes at Zheng Xinyi, stood up and walked over. When he found the melon seed shells on the ground, he immediately got angry: "Shaoyun, I'm not saying anything to you, but you're really outrageous."
Zheng Shaoyun didn’t take it seriously, and casually picked up the bag next to him and handed it to Zheng Shaochun: “Brother, what’s wrong with me? Do you want some?”
Zheng Shaochun had a gloomy face and said in a commanding tone, "Clean up the house yourself later. We're very busy at home these days. You don't have to help, but you absolutely cannot cause any more trouble."
Zheng Shaoyun has always been a bully, afraid of the strong. If Zheng Shaochun really gets angry, she will still be a little timid: "Brother, look at what you said, how can I cause trouble at home? Let's go eat first, and I'll sweep the floor after dinner."
As he was speaking, Zheng Shaoyun had already pulled him out of the house and happened to bump into Zheng Xinyue who had just returned from school. In order to change the topic of melon seeds, he quickly took the opportunity to greet her enthusiastically: "Xinyue is back too, just in time for dinner."
Zheng Xinyue forced a smile, then sat down next to Zheng Xinyi, without even raising her eyebrows, and directly picked up the bowl and chopsticks to eat.
Sitting on a long wooden chair, Zheng Shaoyun held the chopsticks and looked at the corn porridge in the bowl, feeling that it was so difficult to swallow.
"Auntie, why don't you eat?" Zheng Xinwei, who had been doing physical work all day, felt hungry and ate with great relish.
"I'm not hungry." Zheng Shaoyun just put down his bowl and chopsticks.
Zheng Xinyue took the opportunity to quickly bring the corn porridge in front of her over: "Great, I'm not full yet!"
Zheng Xinyi glanced at Zheng Shaoyun, who looked calm as if nothing had happened, and thought to herself that she probably ate too many melon seeds and had no room in her stomach for other food.
