She thought she was too tired and her body couldn't take it, and that she would be fine after a good night's sleep. However, early in the morning, Zheng Xinyi was still feeling nauseous and vomiting.
"Xinyi, why don't you not go to the hospital today? I will ask for leave from you and the dean." Cheng Haoyu said worriedly.
Zheng Xinyi smiled and said, "I'm fine. Everyone is still waiting for me. I can't not go!"
Seeing her stubbornness, Cheng Haoyu's face darkened. "No matter what, I can't let you joke with your body. Listen to me. Don't go anywhere today. Just rest at home."
"Okay, okay, I'll listen to you. Everything you say." Zheng Xinyi saw Cheng Haoyu's face darken and knew that he was starting to get angry, so she responded obediently, took off her shoes and went to bed to rest.
Her action comforted Cheng Haoyu a little, and his gloomy expression eased a little. However, he was still worried about leaving Zheng Xinyi alone at home because he had to go to training. After thinking it over, he said, "Xinyi, I made you a bowl of rice porridge. You can drink it later. Then I will go find Cuiping and ask her to come and accompany you. Don't worry about the hospital. I will go there in person to explain to the dean."
Zheng Xinyi nodded obediently: "Okay, I'll listen to you."

A moment later, Bai Cuiping walked in with a bulging belly.

"Captain Cheng said you are not feeling well, so just lie down on the bed and rest. I will stay here with you." As she spoke, Bai Cuiping had already sat on the chair next to her.
Zheng Xinyi glanced at her belly and said, "It's really not nice of you, a pregnant woman, to accompany me."
"What are you talking about? You are a big celebrity in our army now. When my son is born, I must recognize you as his godmother." Bai Cuiping said half-jokingly and half-seriously.
"Okay, I will." Zheng Xinyi responded with a smile.
The two chatted intimately with each other, and Zheng Xinyi's tired mood was relieved a lot. She wanted to get up and walk around, but as soon as she moved, the inexplicable nausea came back.
"Xinyi, are you okay?" Bai Cuiping hurried over to ask, because she had just experienced a vomiting period, so she was particularly sensitive to this action.
"It's okay. I don't know what happened. I've vomited several times since last night." Zheng Xinyi frowned slightly.
"Xinyi, is that you?" Bai Cuiping reminded.

"Xinyi, congratulations!" Bai Cuiping said with a smile, pulling her arm.
"Cui Ping, I'm pregnant too. I'm going to be a mother too." Zheng Xinyi's face was all beaming with joy: "Cui Ping, can you help me get the rice porridge in the pot?"
"No problem." A moment later, a bowl of hot rice porridge appeared in front of Zheng Xinyi, and then she drank it in big gulps.
