Chapter 32 I was wrong

Zheng Shaochun lay on the bed with a towel on his forehead, groaning in pain, and kept muttering to Zheng Xinyi: "Cuihua, did you get Xinyi back?"

"Xinwei has already gone after her, don't worry!" Cuihua choked aside.

"Do you feel that since I stopped being crazy, I have become a completely different person, especially my temper, which has become extremely irritable." Zheng Xinyue said everything because she really felt that way.

Cuihua raised her head and rolled her eyes at her: "Xinyue, stop talking nonsense."

Yingzi yawned, crossed her arms over her chest, and stood at the door, waiting for a better show to begin. Li Fen, on the other hand, had lost her patience. Her stomach had begun to growl uncontrollably. She no longer cared so much about whether Zheng Xinyi really wanted to cancel the engagement. She used to always talk about this marriage to show off, but now, although the result was beyond her expectations, what did it have to do with her whether she married Chen Haoyu or not.

"Yingzi, why don't you go and make something to eat for everyone first?" Li Fen glanced at Cuihua who was sitting on the kang crying, and finally set her eyes on Yingzi and leaned towards her.

"Mom, look at the situation now, how can anyone still have the mood to eat?" Yingzi knew that Li Fen was starving, so she said this on purpose.

As an elder, how could Li Fen have the nerve to say she was hungry now that something like this had happened in the Zheng family? Wouldn't that make her look cheap? Just when she was starving to the point of being unbearable, Zheng Xinwei and Zheng Xinyi pushed the door open and walked in. Li Fen swallowed her saliva, thinking to herself, there was hope for dinner.

"They're back." Zheng Shaoyun, who had been standing there in a daze, looking dejected, immediately looked at Zheng Xinyi who walked in and said with renewed energy.

Everyone looked over at Cuihua's red and swollen eyes: "You finally decided to come back?"

"Dad, Mom, I'm sorry. I know I was wrong." Zheng Xinyi looked at her father who was sick because of her anger and her mother with red eyes. She felt a pang in her heart and spoke from the bottom of her heart.

"What are you doing back? Didn't I tell you? If you want to cancel the engagement, don't set foot in this house again." Although Zheng Shaochun was worried about Zheng Xinyi in his heart, he still kept saying these angry words.

Zheng Xinyi took a deep breath, and big pearls fell from her eyes: "Dad, I will marry you, I will marry you."

"Xinyi! If you had thought of this earlier, these things wouldn't have happened. Besides, Cheng Haoyu is a good guy and worthy of you." Li Fen quickly pulled Zheng Xinyi to smooth things over, thinking that she should finish the matter quickly so that she could prepare for dinner.

Zheng Xinyi forced a smile and nodded vigorously to Li Fen, but she still felt uncomfortable.

"Sister, have you figured it out?" Zheng Xinyue asked uncertainly with her eyes wide open, because the contrast between her before and after was too great.

Zheng Xinyi took a deep breath, put away her compromising heart, made her facial expression look more willing, and forced a smile on the corner of her mouth: "I figured it out."

"My daughter." Cuihua held her in her arms excitedly, and the mother and daughter hugged each other and cried bitterly.

Yingzi, who wanted to watch the show, didn't expect the final result to be like this. She stepped forward and said, "Xinyi, it's not that Second Aunt didn't warn you, you have to think it over carefully. If you change your mind, you will have no chance."

Zheng Shaodong pushed her and said, "What are you talking about? If you don't know how to speak, don't talk nonsense."

"The matter has been resolved. Can we have dinner now?" Li Fen took the opportunity to change the subject.

Cuihua, feeling relieved, quickly stood up and said, "Mom, you must be starving. I'll go cook."
