The next morning, Wang Yun went to work as usual. The ladies in the kitchen gathered together and were whispering about something. She thought they were talking about what happened to her last night, but when she got closer, she realized that they were talking about Aning. Then she noticed that she had not seen Aning since she entered the door, and a bad premonition came to her mind.
"Did something happen to Aning?" Wang Yun asked, pulling the old lady's arm.
"Aning secretly jumped out of the window into the army cafeteria last night and was discovered by the leader. She has just been called away by the army leader." The old lady responded.
Sun Ning's wife rolled her eyes at Wang Yun in anger. "Aning knows that the army cafeteria is not open to the public at night, but she made a mistake for someone last night. What a fool Aning is!"
Wang Yun could tell she was indirectly referring to herself, but she didn't have time to argue with her. With Aning still on her mind, she turned to Sun Ning's wife and pleaded with her, "You are the boss's wife, so your words must carry a lot of weight in front of the boss. So please, help Aning plead for mercy in front of the boss."
Sun Ning's wife swung her arm in annoyance and said in a lukewarm tone: "Aning knowingly made a mistake. If you don't punish her, everyone in this cafeteria will be in trouble in the future."
Everyone in the army cafeteria disliked Wang Yun very much, and at this moment Wang Yun had a lot of work to do. If she wanted to continue working here, she couldn't just run to the playground and ask Wang Zhi for help. Now she could only feel anxious, but there was nothing she could do.
Ever since Wang Yun came to work in the army canteen, Aning has always taken care of him in every way. If he was really expelled by the army leaders because of her, she would feel very guilty.
Around noon, Aning finally showed up. Wang Yun quickly put down the rag in his hand and trotted over: "Aning, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, you don't have to worry." Although Aning felt very upset because he had just been scolded by the military leader, he was still quite relieved to see Wang Yun caring about him so much.
"What did the military leader say? He didn't say he wanted to expel you, did he?" Wang Yun asked cautiously.
"No." Aning responded as if nothing had happened.
"Fortunately, the army leaders were generous this time. They only fined you two months' salary and gave you a warning. Don't make this kind of mistake again next time, otherwise you will definitely be expelled." Sun Ning reminded.
"I understand, boss. I will do my best later." Aning said humbly.
"Okay, get to work! Lunch will be served soon." Sun Ning urged.
Aning glanced at Wang Yun, gave her a smile, and then followed Sun Ning into the kitchen.
Wang Yun looked at his departing back, feeling sad and unhappy.
"Aning, you are a good boy. Don't do such stupid things for an unworthy woman in the future?" The lady who was washing vegetables in the kitchen kindly reminded him.
"Auntie, are you talking about Wang Yun? She's actually a nice person." Aning defended her with a smile.
"Oh! You silly child, are you attracted to that girl?" the old lady asked with a frown.
Aning lowered his head shyly and said nothing, but the raised corner of his mouth already expressed the answer in his heart.
"Aning, it's not that I haven't warned you, Wang Yun is not a good girl. I've been through this before, and she is definitely not a honest person." The old lady warned from the bottom of her heart.
