Chapter 474 Who Stole the Chicken Soup

"Sun Ning, is the chicken soup that the army leader ordered ready?" At noon, the soldier came to get the soup.

Aning glanced at the soldier and became a little nervous. In order not to attract attention, he pretended to know nothing as much as possible and kept working.

"Okay, it's ready." Sun Ning went to get his lunch box, but found it empty. He looked up and asked the chef, "Where's the chicken soup I asked you to prepare?"

The chef was stunned and touched the back of his head: "It was here just now, how come it disappeared?"

Sun Ning looked at the soldier with some embarrassment, not knowing how to explain himself for a moment. He pulled the chef aside and asked quietly, "Did you forget where you put the chicken soup? I'm telling you, this was the chicken soup the unit leader personally ordered for the wounded. If it's lost, we'll all be held responsible."

The chef was also shocked after he finished speaking, with an innocent expression on his face: "Boss, I really put the chicken soup there, but how and when did it disappear? I really don't know. Boss, you are not suspecting that I drank the chicken soup secretly, are you? I have been busy here from morning to night, this matter has nothing to do with me."

"Hurry up and call everyone over here." Sun Ning said in a commanding tone.

Soon, everyone was gathered together, and Sun Ning looked at them one by one with sharp eyes. Wang Yun kept crossing his fingers in front of his chest. He looked calm on the surface, but he was very nervous inside.

Aning was ready to deny it even if beaten to death.

"Who among you stole the chicken soup? Before this matter gets out of hand, it's best for you to admit it voluntarily. Maybe you can get a lighter punishment. Otherwise, if the news gets to the military leaders, it will be difficult to deal with." Sun Ning said in a warning tone.

Everyone pretended to be innocent and talked in low voices, and no one took the initiative to admit their mistakes.

After a moment, Sun Ning nodded slightly: "No one admits it, right? Then don't blame me for reporting it to the military leaders."

Cold sweat broke out on Wang Yun's forehead. He wanted to admit his mistake, but he didn't have the courage. He swallowed hard, but ultimately didn't say anything.

"Sun Ning, the wounded soldier is still lying in the hospital, waiting to drink chicken soup. What's going on now?" The soldier frowned slightly and spoke in an anxious tone.

Sun Ning felt ashamed to see such a thing happen in the army cafeteria: "I will report it to the army leadership immediately and ask them to kill another chicken."

"Okay! I'll go first." The soldier said helplessly.

Sun Ning glared at them fiercely, pointed at them and scolded them: "You have really brought shame to our army cafeteria."

After Sun Ning finished speaking, he turned and left. The women who were taking showers and picking vegetables were talking to each other: "Whoever took the chicken soup, go and admit it! If this really gets to the army leaders, it will be bad."

"Yeah! Who on earth did this? It really damages the reputation of our army canteen!"

Wang Yun glanced at Aning, said nothing, stood up and left, and continued to work, but his heart was in turmoil.

Sun Ning reported the missing chicken soup to the army leader, who was furious: "How could such a dishonest person exist in the army? We must find out who did it. Such dishonest people cannot be allowed to work in the army."

"What about chicken soup?" Sun Ning asked blushingly.

"Stew another chicken and send it to the wounded soldiers in the army." The army leader ordered.
