Wang Yun was startled when he heard the words. He put down the rag in his hand and asked in confusion, "Brother, what did you say? Captain Cheng was poisoned?"
Seeing her surprised and panicked expression, Wang Zhi felt relieved: "Yes, she was poisoned in the army cafeteria this morning, and she is still in the hospital for treatment."
"What?" Wang Yun's pupils dilated, and he pushed the door open and ran away regardless.
"Wang Yun, come back here." When Wang Zhi chased out, the man had disappeared.
When Wang Yun arrived at the military hospital, Cheng Haoyu had just been pushed out of the emergency room.
Although the military leader appeared calm on the surface, he was actually as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. He glanced at Cheng Haoyu who was still sleeping and asked, "How is he?"
"Fortunately, he was brought here in time. We have cleaned out the contents of his stomach and he is no longer in danger of death." The dean responded in detail.
"Oh, that's great." The troop leader sighed softly, with the corners of his mouth slightly raised.
"Xinyi, you guys push Captain Cheng into the ward and take care of him first." The dean said in a slightly commanding tone, then looked around and pulled the military leaders to a remote and deserted place.
Zheng Xinyi's mind was completely focused on Cheng Haoyu, and she didn't notice Wang Yun standing opposite her at all. When Wang Yun heard that Cheng Haoyu was out of danger, he breathed a sigh of relief, glanced at the strange dean and military leaders, quietly followed them, hid behind a stone pillar, and eavesdropped on their conversation.
Seeing his mysterious look, the army leader couldn't help but ask, "What's going on? Why are you so secretive?"
"Do you know why Cheng Haoyu was poisoned?" the dean asked in a low voice.
The troop leader's eyes widened immediately: "What did you find in his stomach?"
"Rat poison." The dean responded softly.
As soon as the words fell, the army leader became nervous: "What? Rat poison? How did this rat poison get into Cheng Haoyu's stomach?"
"I think the problem lies with the breakfast." The dean analyzed seriously.
"So someone deliberately framed Cheng Haoyu and put poison in his food, trying to kill him." The army leader spoke with a lack of confidence. The people in the army cafeteria were almost all elderly people, and Sun Ning's management was always strict. How could such a mistake happen?
The dean nodded slightly, "But Captain Cheng, who could he possibly have offended? How could he be so cruel as to kill him?"
"No matter who it is, this matter is too serious. I must report it to my superiors immediately. This matter must be kept confidential for the time being to avoid unnecessary complications and making people panic." The army leader responded.
The dean nodded in agreement. "Don't worry. I'll tell the hospital staff not to say anything. One more thing. Find a way to get Cheng Haoyu's breakfast from the military cafeteria for testing."
"Leave this matter to me." The military leader responded solemnly, then turned and left.
Wang Yun, who was hiding behind the stone pillar, was completely found. He covered his mouth, which had become an O shape, with his hand. His brows furrowed slightly, and his breathing became rapid. He whispered to himself: "Who wants to harm Cheng Haoyu?"
