Chapter 517: No Longer a Military Doctor

Wang Zhi was stunned for a moment, then sat beside her in excitement. "Yun'er, have you finally come to your senses and are you finally willing to be discharged? Don't worry, I've already spoken to our parents. They said that no matter whether your left leg is still there or not, you will always be their most beloved daughter. They've already written to let you go home to recuperate."

"Brother, I told you a long time ago that I won't go home. I don't want to go back with a broken leg and add burden to my parents." Wang Yun felt that he was dragging his feet like an old lady and responded in a bad tone.

"Not going home? What are you going to do if you don't go home? I need to train every day and I don't have any extra time to take care of you?" Wang Zhi asked.

"I have discussed this with Dr. Zheng. After I am discharged from the hospital, she will take care of me personally." Wang Yun responded slowly.

"What?" Wang Zhi was startled and stood up suddenly: "Wang Yun, I've told you many times not to disturb Captain Cheng and Doctor Zheng's lives. Why won't you listen?"

Every time they talked about this issue, the brother and sister would have a very unhappy argument. Wang Yun no longer wanted to argue with him over the same issue over and over again.

He put down the lunch box in his hand, frowned slightly, and warned solemnly: "Brother, I will handle my own affairs later, don't worry about it in the future."

Wang Zhi saw that Wang Yun wouldn't listen to a single word he said, even if he talked until his lips were worn out. He was completely disheartened, his face expression as if it was dead. He nodded slightly and said, "Okay, from now on, you can handle your own affairs. I won't ask any more questions."

After he finished speaking, Wang Zhi angrily put away his lunch box, slammed the door and left. As soon as he walked out of the military hospital, he happened to meet Cheng Haoyu who was about to visit Wang Yun.

"Wang Zhi, why do you look so unhappy?" Cheng Haoyu glanced at the lunch box in his hand and asked in a concerned tone.

"Captain Cheng." Wang Zhi seemed to be about to speak but hesitated, but finally held his breath and said, "I'm fine. I'm leaving first."

Before Cheng Haoyu could speak, Wang Zhi had already lowered his head and left in a hurry.

"Haoyu, you came at the right time. I have something to discuss with you." Zheng Xinyi walked over and said.

Cheng Haoyu glanced at Wang Zhi who was gradually walking away, then turned his head and nodded slightly to Zheng Xinyi.

The two of them entered the doctor's office one after the other. Cheng Haoyu saw that she looked very worried and asked, "What's wrong? Did Wang Yun give you a hard time again?"

"Haoyu, I plan to submit my resignation to the dean and go home to take care of Wang Yun." Zheng Xinyi said in a serious tone.

Cheng Haoyu was shocked: "What did you say? Xinyi, you haven't proposed this idea to the dean yet, right?"

"Not yet. I plan to report after discussing it with you." Zheng Xinyi crossed her fingers on her chest, feeling a mixture of emotions.

"Xinyi, I don't agree." Cheng Haoyu responded directly.

"Haoyu, Wang Yun lost his left leg because of you. If we still want to be together, then this path is the best choice." Zheng Xinyi made this suggestion to Cheng Haoyu after careful consideration. Although she also loved this job and was reluctant to give up, there was nothing she could do now that things were at their fingertips.

"If I ask you to quit your job and go home to take care of Wang Yun, I will feel even more guilty and sad." Cheng Haoyu said with red eyes, frowned, and patted his chest.
