"Report." A voice came from outside the army leader's office.
"Come in." The army leader responded in a loud voice.
The soldier pushed the door open and walked in, standing straight as he responded in detail: "Reporting to the unit leader, Wang Zhi suddenly disappeared today and his whereabouts are unknown."
The military leader and the dean looked at each other, and a bad premonition came to their minds.
"Have you not been to the training ground today?" the military leader asked.
"No, there is no leave record." The soldier responded seriously.
"It's impossible for such a big person to disappear out of thin air. Have you looked for him nearby?" the dean asked.
"We've looked, but we can't find it," the soldier responded.
The military leader thought for a moment and then asked, "What about his home? Have you been there?"
"We've been there, but the door is locked and can't be opened. We knocked on the door for a long time, but no one opened it. Battalion Commander Cheng and Squad Leader Wang were not there, so the soldiers didn't dare to barge in, so we came here to ask the leader's opinion." The soldier responded.
As soon as he finished speaking, the military leaders and the dean went straight to Wang Zhi's house, and found that the door was indeed locked.
"Wang Zhi, Wang Zhi." The army leader knocked on the door and called out loudly, but there was no sound from inside.
"Knock the door open for me." The army leader commanded.
As soon as the words fell, the two soldiers knocked on the door. Soon, the door opened, and a pungent smell of alcohol made the army leader and the dean frown slightly.
When I walked in, I saw that the wine bottles on the floor and on the table were empty. Wang Zhi and Cheng Haoyu were completely drunk, lying on the floor and snoring.
"It's simply outrageous." The army leader said in an angry tone.
"Hey! Actually, they also understand. During this period, everyone was in a bad mood because of Wang Yun's matter. They rarely felt depressed." The dean responded.
"No matter how serious the problem is, you shouldn't drown your sorrows in alcohol," the army leader responded, then winked at the soldiers next to him: "Bring buckets of cold water and pour them over them to wake them up."
As soon as he finished speaking, the soldier came in with a bucket of cold water and glanced at the angry troop leader with a timid look. After all, the person lying on the ground was Battalion Commander Cheng, so he still had some concerns.
The army leader rolled his eyes at him, took the bucket, and poured water on the two men without a care.
The icy cold water fell on their bodies, giving them a chill to the bones.
Cheng Haoyu sneezed twice in succession and stood up with a confused look on his face: "What's going on?"
The dean coughed lightly a few times and gave a look.
"Leader?" Wang Zhi, who had regained consciousness, was startled and asked timidly, "Why are you here?"
"If I hadn't come, I wouldn't have seen such a wonderful scene. You are a battalion commander and an excellent soldier, but you are drunk here in broad daylight. It's really outrageous." The army leader scolded with a gloomy face.
"Why don't you two get up quickly?" the dean reminded.
As soon as he finished speaking, Cheng Haoyu reached out to wipe the cold water dripping from his face and immediately stood up.
"Have you two lost your bones? Stand up straight and show the soldier's temperament you should have." The army leader said to them in a loud voice as loud as a bell.
As soon as the words fell, Cheng Haoyu and Wang Zhi raised their heads, stood up straight, and responded loudly: "Report to the leader, we know we were wrong, and we will go back and write a letter of apology."
