Bai Cuiping, holding a lunch box, knocked on Cheng Haoyu's door for a long time, but there was no movement from inside. Bai Cuiping became curious because Wang Yun didn't look like he was going out.
With a puzzled look, she reached out and pushed the door. Sure enough, the door was not locked and it opened with a gentle push. Bai Cuiping walked in, frowning slightly, and quickly opened the window in the hall, muttering to herself: "The air outside is so good, but you didn't even open the windows to ventilate. This room is almost moldy."
Looking around, she saw that the bedroom door was closed. She stepped forward and knocked on the door a few times, but no one responded. Bai Cuiping quietly pushed open the door. As Wang Ye had expected, it was already noon, and Wang Yun had not gotten up yet. He was lying on the bed, sleeping soundly.
"Wang Yun, Captain Cheng has something to do at noon and won't be back. I left the lunch box here for you." Bai Cuiping said as she placed the lunch box where she could reach it.
Wang Yun's body moved slightly, but she didn't respond. Bai Cuiping wanted to turn around and leave without caring, but seeing that Wang Yun looked particularly uncomfortable, she couldn't bear it and touched her forehead, her eyes widening: "Do you have a fever?"
Wang Yun frowned slightly, opened his eyes with some difficulty, and babbled without saying a word.
No matter what, Wang Yun is a living person after all. Even if Bai Cuiping is annoyed with her, she can't ignore her at this time.
She opened a basin of cold water, washed a towel and placed it on her forehead, then carefully helped her up to drink water and covered her tightly with the quilt. Bai Cuiping stayed by Wang Yun's side, constantly changing the towel on her forehead.
After a good sleep, Wang Yun slowly opened his eyes and felt much more relaxed. He was no longer as groggy as he was in the morning.
"Thank you." Wang Yun said from the bottom of his heart.
Bai Cuiping had a stern face and handed her the lunch box without saying a word: "Eat quickly!"
After she finished speaking, Bai Cuiping was ready to turn around and leave.
"You must hate me especially because of Xinyi's matter, right? If you hate me so much, why do you still take care of me?" Wang Yun held the lunch box, looked at her back as she was about to leave, and asked.
Bai Cuiping paused, her head slightly lowered to her shoulder. "I really don't like you, but I can't just stand by and watch you die."
"What's so good about Zheng Xinyi? Why do all of you like her so much?" Wang Yun continued to ask.
"Because she is so sincere to everyone. She is kind-hearted and straightforward. She never has any schemes. Whether it is to her friends or to every patient in the hospital, she is so loving. Because of her sincerity and genuineness, we all like her and respect her." Bai Cuiping responded seriously.
"But I'm not a bad person. I just like Cheng Haoyu too much. I just want to take back what belongs to me." Wang Yun frowned slightly and asked meaningfully.
"Captain Cheng is a thoughtful and sensitive person. He knows who he likes and who he dislikes. You clearly know that he likes Xinyi, but you hurt Xinyi again and again. Naturally, he will hate you because you are hurting the most important person in his heart." After she finished speaking, Bai Cuiping left without looking back.
Wang Yun tightened his grip on the lunch box and for the first time lowered his head silently.
