"We have arrived at Beijing Station. Passengers getting off the train please take your valuables with you." As the announcer announced, the train gradually slowed down.
Zheng Xinyi took her suitcase and prepared to get off the car.
"Xiaoxue, Sister Xinyi has arrived at the station. Say goodbye to her quickly." Li Yu held Xiaoxue's hand and watched Zheng Xinyi leave.
Xiaoxue waved her small hand and said, "Goodbye, Sister Xinyi."
Zheng Xinyi gently pinched her watery cheeks: "Goodbye, Xiaoxue, be sure to listen to your mother!" She looked up at Li Yu: "Sister, I'll go first."
"If you have the chance to come to Shanghai, remember to come and see me." Li Yu waved to her.
Zheng Xinyi nodded: "Yeah, for sure."
Dragging her suitcase, she followed the crowd off the train. Looking out among the crowd, Zheng Xinyi felt a sudden sense of enlightenment: "This Beijing train station is huge! It's several times bigger than the one back home."
I followed the crowd out of the exit, took a deep breath, raised a smile at the corner of my mouth, and shouted wildly in my heart: Beijing, I am here, my dream, I am here.
A man holding a stick in his mouth nudged the man next to him and winked at Zheng Xinyi. The two men's eyes lit up as if they had found their prey, and they approached Zheng Xinyi happily: "Where are you going, girl?"
Zheng Xinyi immediately became alert: "What's wrong with you?"
"Are you alone, little girl?" the man asked.
Zheng Xinyi rolled her eyes at him: "So what?"
"You don't look like a local. Haven't you found a place to live yet?" another man asked. He sniffed her shoulder and then, looking very pleased, said, "I know a place that's cheap and in a good location."
"No need." As she spoke, Zheng Xinyi had already reached out to take the suitcase, wanting to leave this place of trouble as soon as possible.
But the man's hand landed directly on her suitcase, and with great force, Zheng Xinyi couldn't lift the suitcase at all. She glared at them fiercely and said, "What do you want to do?"
"Help you find a place to stay." The man smiled sinisterly.
Zheng Xinyi just couldn't believe that they dared to do anything to her in broad daylight. Her eyes fell on the patrolman who was on patrol, and the deafening cry was: "Help! Help!"
Her screams immediately attracted the attention of the patrolmen, who came running over to inquire about the situation. The two men had originally planned to attack Zheng Xinyi, but they had never expected that this little girl would be so difficult to deal with.
"My lords, it's just a misunderstanding." The two men said politely.
But in the blink of an eye, Zheng Xinyi started crying, looking aggrieved: "Master Jun, you have to make the decision for me!"
"Misunderstanding? Then why is she crying like a tearful person?" the patrolman asked.
"Is there any law at all? How dare they rob in broad daylight?" Zheng Xinyi raised her voice, attracting many onlookers, who all stood up for her.
The two men were immediately dumbfounded. They had not done anything yet, but they had already become sinners.
"Take them back to the police station." The leading patrolman gave an order, and soon several soldiers took them away.
Zheng Xinyi excitedly made a face at them. The two men were so angry that they stared at her intently, remembering her thoroughly in their hearts, as if they were going to punish her. However, Zheng Xinyi pretended not to see anything and called out to their backs, "Thank you, General, for redressing my injustice!"
