Zheng Xinyi had just sat down on the kang to catch her breath when she heard Cuihua's voice in the yard calling out, "Hu Zi's mom, Xiao Niu's mom, why are you here?"
"Xing'er, was it the idiot in his family who pushed you down just now?" A burly woman behind Hu Zi's mother half squatted down and asked her daughter.
Perhaps frightened by Zheng Xinyi's actions just now, his weak body hid behind his mother.
"It was that idiot in his family who pushed Xing'er down and said he would eat us alive." With the support of an adult, Hu Zi said in a loud voice.
"Xing'er's mother, my Xinyi didn't mean it." Cuihua apologized to Xing'er's mother with a simple and honest look on her face.
"Just say 'I didn't mean it' and that's it. Look how scared my Xing'er is?" Xing'er's mother yelled at the top of her voice.
"That's right! They even eat people alive. Will my little girl dare to go out in the future?" The little girl's mother agreed with Xing'er's mother.
"So what do you want?" Although Zheng Xinyue is the youngest in the Zheng family, she is not someone who is easy to bully.
"Old Zheng, we are all neighbors in the village. We see each other every day. Hand Zheng Xinyi over to us and let her apologize to us. Then this matter will be over." Hu Zi's mother suggested.
"That won't do. She has to stand here and let me push her." Xing'er's mother said relentlessly.
Zheng Xinyi is a fool. If she is asked to come out and apologize, she might not be able to do so and might even cause some new trouble. Besides, Xing'er's mother is big and strong. If she is asked to push Zheng Xinyi, she will definitely use brute force and might break Zheng Xinyi's arms or legs.
Zheng Shaochun was surrounded by smoke and exhaled another puff of smoke. "How about this, I, Zheng Shaochun, will personally apologize to you, and this matter will be over. You can just give me some face, okay?"

Zheng Xinyi pushed away Zheng Xinwei's hand that was on her shoulder, ready to persuade her. She looked at her with disdain and nodded without hesitation: "Yes, I pushed her, but don't you want to know why?"
Xing'er's mother was frightened by her sharp gaze. There was a hint of unnaturalness in her eyes, and she asked in a stuttering tone, "Why...why?"
"Because she lacks discipline and is disrespectful to her elders." Zheng Xinyi said domineeringly.
This surprised Xing'er's mother. She suddenly looked up and asked, "My Xing'er has always been very well behaved. Did she disrespect that elder?"
"To me." Zheng Xinyi said seriously, "Xing'er is six years old this year, and I am fourteen years older than her. Logically, I should be her elder, and she should call me sister, but she keeps calling me a fool."
This was the best joke Xing'er's mother had ever heard, and she couldn't help but chuckle, "You're just a fool."
As soon as he finished speaking, Zheng Xinwei picked up the crowbar behind him and hit Xing'er's mother with it. Fortunately, Xing'er's mother tilted her body and escaped the disaster.
"I used to have some dementia, but I'm fine now. If anyone calls me a fool again in the future, I, Zheng Xinyi, will never forgive her." Zheng Xinyi said firmly.
Xing'er's mother had already been standing there in a daze, too scared to move. Seeing that things were not going well, Hu Zi's mother and Xiao Niu's mother quickly pulled her away in shame.
