After walking out of the ticket gate, Cheng Haoyu smiled at the man and said, "Don't worry! I've already solved your problem. Just wait here for someone named Zhou Shui. He'll come find you as soon as he's done with his work."
The man's nervous expression gradually relaxed, his features lit up with joy, and he almost knelt down to Cheng Haoyu in excitement: "Thank you, thank you."
"Okay, just wait here for Zhou Shui! We have to hurry over and line up." Zheng Xinyi glanced at the increasingly long queue across the street and said.
"Okay, I wish you a safe journey!" The man said excitedly, holding Cheng Haoyu's arm.
Under his grateful gaze, Cheng Haoyu and Zheng Xinyi turned and left. Looking at the team that seemed to have no end in sight, Cheng Haoyu sighed softly.
"Haoyu, since things have come to this, you should stop being so depressed." Zheng Xinyi glanced at him and shook his arm: "Think about the two good things we just did, will you feel a little better?"
"Unfortunately, my ability is limited, and I cannot help those who didn't buy tickets and want to go home for the New Year to realize their wishes." Cheng Haoyu felt very uncomfortable as he looked at those eyes that were eager to go home.
"Even if you can conjure up a ticket out of thin air, the train doesn't have that much capacity. Our abilities are limited." Zheng Xinyi comforted him.
The team moved forward little by little. Cheng Haoyu and Zheng Xinyi waited in line for half an hour before they successfully checked their tickets. After passing the ticket gate, everyone ran forward like crazy, carrying large and small bags.
"Xinyi, follow me closely." Cheng Haoyu wrapped his arms around her shoulders tightly, protecting her in his arms, but even so, she could not avoid being hit by pedestrians.
Zheng Xinyi protected her belly with both hands and moved slowly in Cheng Haoyu's arms. After a lot of effort, they got on the train and found their seats. Cheng Haoyu first settled Zheng Xinyi down. He had just sat down next to her when he saw an elderly lady next to her who was exhausted by the crowd. She was swaying and unable to stand steadily.
"Auntie, are you riding in the car alone?" Cheng Haoyu quickly stood up and supported her. He looked around and didn't see her relatives, so he asked.
"I'm going to my eldest son's house to celebrate the New Year. My second son just sent me to the car and went back. It's okay. My eldest son will pick me up when we arrive at the station." The old lady explained.
"Oh! It's really unsafe for you to ride in a car alone at your age! Just sit here with me!" Cheng Haoyu said, pointing to the seat behind him.
"No need. It's not easy to get on the bus these days." The old lady postponed, but the crowd behind her made her feel uncomfortable all over. If she stood all the way like this, her old bones would probably be squeezed apart by the time she got to her feet.
"Auntie, you should just do this! I'm young and it's okay for me to stand for a while." As he spoke, Cheng Haoyu helped the old lady sit down.
"Thank you, young man. You are really a good person." The old lady said gratefully.
For the rest of the journey, Cheng Haoyu used his body to protect Xinyi and the old lady, helping them block the crowded crowd. Even though his body was tossed back and forth by the crowd and he couldn't stand steadily, he still insisted on guarding Xinyi and the old lady.
Until the old lady got off the bus, he gave up his seat to those who were really in need.
