As soon as I opened the door, I saw two figures running hurriedly past Zheng Xinyi's house.
"Who is it?" Wang Ye called out. As he called out, the two figures ran even faster and disappeared in a flash.
Wang Ye chased after them regardless of anything.
The atmosphere became tense. Zhao Yuenan and Bai Cuiping looked at each other, and a bad premonition came to their hearts.
"What's going on? Why is there someone at Xinyi's door?" Huang Lei said with wide eyes looking in the direction Wang Ye was chasing.
Zhao Yuenan rolled her eyes at him and sighed softly, "Are you stupid? Can't you see that? Someone was so bored that they came here to eavesdrop just to prove whether Xinyi was truly mentally ill."
"That's really despicable." Huang Lei said viciously.
"What's wrong? What happened?" Zheng Xinyi heard their conversation at the door and felt something was wrong, so she came out to ask.
"Xinyi, someone was eavesdropping outside your door just now. I think Chongyang and I should stay with you tonight!" Bai Cuiping said in a worried tone.
"Someone's eavesdropping at my door?" Zheng Xinyi's lips curled up slightly: "It seems that everyone really cares about my affairs!"
"Xinyi, don't worry, Wang Ye has already gone after her." Huang Lei comforted her.
Zheng Xinyi raised her eyes to the sky and said, "It's so late, the person eavesdropping at the door shouldn't come back. You all should go back and rest!"
"Xinyi, then you should take care of yourself at home. If anything happens, call me and Wang Ye." Bai Cuiping spoke up and reminded.
Zheng Xinyi nodded slightly: "Don't worry!"
Huang Lei and Zhao Yuenan suspected that the person eavesdropping outside Zheng Xinyi's door must be from their military hospital, so they were very curious and angry, and wanted to know who this boring person was.
"Cui Ping, why don't we go back with you to wait for Wang Ye! I also want to know who this person is?" Zhao Yuenan said in a serious tone.
"Okay." Bai Cuiping responded with a smile.
Wang Ye tracked the figure all the way to the military playground, but then lost all leads. The soldier on duty was startled and rushed over to ask, "Squad Leader Wang, what's wrong?"
Wang Ye stood in the military playground, looked around, touched his nose, and shook his head: "It's okay, maybe I was dazzled and was startled by a big wild cat."
