Li Qing felt as if he had been electrocuted and could no longer move his feet. He turned his head to look at his arm which was tightly grasped by Wang Zhi, and he was completely panicked.
Wang Zhi came to his senses and immediately let go of her hand, clenching it into a fist in front of his chest in an unnatural manner.
Li Qing's face turned slightly red, and he lowered his head shyly. The two were silent for a few seconds.
Wang Zhi glanced at her and swallowed: "Li Qing, I haven't finished what I want to say!"
"Then tell me!" Li Qing said anxiously.
Wang Zhi took a deep breath and tried to calm his nerves. "This morning, Doctor Zheng came to the military training ground to find me and told me a lot about what happened between us."
"What happened between us? What happened?" Li Qing asked with a red face.
The more she asked, the more nervous Wang Zhi became, but Li Qing was extremely anxious. She had waited for so long, and finally he came to her on his own initiative. The feelings that had been suppressed in her heart for so long were eager for a result.
"Dr. Zheng said she hopes to see us together when she leaves." Wang Zhi didn't know how much courage he mustered to say this.

Wang Zhi finally spoke his heart out. Li Qing was both moved and angry, and his eyes became moist for some reason. "Captain Cheng's death was not your fault.
