Chapter 839 Controlling Emotions

"Xinyi, are you on your way to Beijing?" Cheng Haoyu looked around and asked.

"Yes! It's the train to Beijing." Zheng Xinyi responded in detail.

"Xinyi." Cheng Haoyu looked at her with concern, but he didn't know what to say, because he knew Xinyi's temper. She had made up her mind, and no matter how much he said, it would not change the status quo. Besides, Cheng Haoyu had said everything he should have said before.

"Haoyu, don't say anything. Just stay here quietly with me, okay?" As he spoke, Zheng Xinyi leaned her head on his shoulder, looking exhausted both physically and mentally. At this moment, she didn't want to say anything, didn't want to hear anything, she just wanted to sleep quietly for a while.

Cheng Haoyu looked at her furrowed brows and exhausted face, and his heart tightened. He reached out and touched her thin face, sighed softly, and without saying a word, held her tightly in his arms, watching her fall asleep in his arms.

Xinyi didn't know how long she had slept. When she woke up, the mother and daughter opposite her had gotten off the train at some point and had changed their faces. Fortunately, Cheng Haoyu was always by her side, holding her tightly.

The train staff came over to check, and Zheng Xinyi took the opportunity to ask, "Excuse me, where are we now? How far is it from Beijing?"

"There are only two stops left until Beijing Station." The staff member responded seriously.

"Thank you." Zheng Xinyi looked out the window. Two more stops to Beijing. Her heartbeat suddenly quickened. She wondered what the situation was like in Beijing. Was the troupe still there? Would she be able to meet Haoyu in person?

Cheng Haoyu saw her agitation and placed her nervous fist in his palm: "Xinyi, I really don't want you to be wronged because of me."

"If I can successfully find you, find out what happened to you in Beijing, live up to everyone's expectations, and bring you back to reunite with everyone, then this little grievance will not be a grievance at all for me." Zheng Xinyi said seriously.

She admitted that she was really nervous. She had been to Beijing many times, but never was she as nervous as this time, and her mood was so complicated.

Cheng Haoyu originally wanted to stay with Xinyi until the station, but things went against his wishes. The voice he was most worried about was calling his soul again. Even though he was reluctant and unwilling in his heart, he could not control that powerful force. Every time this force appeared, he had to leave, and any more struggle would be meaningless.

"Haoyu, what's wrong with you?" Zheng Xinyi felt that something was wrong with him, so she asked.

"Xinyi, I may have to leave." Cheng Haoyu frowned and said seriously.

Although Xinyi was extremely reluctant and unwilling, she couldn't show it too obviously on the train to let people around her notice that something was wrong with her. Beijing Station was about to arrive, and if she couldn't control her emotions for a moment and everyone arrested her as a mental patient, it would really be a loss.

"Xinyi, I'm leaving. You must take good care of yourself." Cheng Haoyu held her hand and reminded her again and again.

Zheng Xinyi nodded at him without saying a word.
