Chapter 868 Confirmation of the Results

"Yes, this morning, Haoyu, I want to hear you tell me in person whether you have really decided to be with Fang Biying. As long as you tell me in person, I promise that I will never bother you again. I will leave Beijing completely and stay away from you. I will never bother you again." Zheng Xinyi's eyes flashed with tears, and she said seriously.

Cheng Haoyu glanced at her. The tears in her eyes distressed him. He frowned slightly and swallowed his saliva. "Mr. Fang did ask me to get married, but I refused. I want to wait until I have a thorough understanding of the past before making any plans."

Zheng Xinyi's heart finally settled down. The corners of her mouth curled up slightly. She took a step forward and took Cheng Haoyu's arm, feeling a little excited. "I knew Fang Biying must be lying to me. I knew you wouldn't marry her so easily."

As the words fell, the smile on her face gradually disappeared when her eyes met his lukewarm gaze. She glanced at the arm she was holding on to him and subconsciously let go.

"I didn't know Fang Biying had come to see you. Don't worry, I will make it clear to Biying later and won't let her cause you trouble again." The two were silent for two seconds, and Cheng Haoyu suddenly spoke.

Zheng Xinyi smiled and nodded: "Thank you."

Fang Biying, who had just walked down from the stage, was already extremely anxious. She wanted to see Alang very much, so she removed her makeup as quickly as possible and then turned around and left.

When she saw Ah Lang and Zheng Xinyi standing in the theater, talking and laughing about something, her anger suddenly rushed to the top of her head. She rushed over to block Ah Lang, and met Zheng Xinyi's eyes. She said in an unhappy tone: "I warned you a long time ago not to bother Ah Lang again. Don't you understand what I say?"

Zheng Xinyi looked at him with disdain: "Miss Fang came to me early in the morning and said you were going to marry A Lang. I was confused, so I naturally came to Haoyu to ask for clarification."

Fang Biying was stunned for a moment, glanced at Alang behind her, frowned slightly, swallowed, and then looked at Zheng Xinyi with anger in her eyes. She raised her hand to slap her, but as soon as her hand was raised, an invisible force grabbed her tightly.

Looking around, she saw that the person holding her arm was none other than Ah Lang. He looked at her sharply and said, "She just came to ask me for the truth of the matter. Why are you so angry, Biying?"

"Alang, she comes to the troupe to cause trouble for you again and again. How can I not be angry?" Fang Biying responded.

"Haoyu, if you want to recover your memory as soon as possible, you can come to me anytime. I am a military doctor." Zheng Xinyi ignored Fang Biying and said directly.

"Okay, I understand." Cheng Haoyu responded while looking at her out of the corner of his eye.

"Then I'll go first." After saying that, Zheng Xinyi turned around and left without looking back.

Fang Biying stood there, filled with anger, watching her leave the troupe. She frowned helplessly and retracted her arm that was half hanging in the air.

"Why did you lie to me?" Cheng Haoyu asked.

Fang Biying rubbed her wrist, which had been pinched red by him, and her black eyeballs kept rolling in her white pupils: "I don't know what you are talking about?"

"I was carried back from the battlefield by Liu Si at the beginning of the year. I wasn't part of the opera troupe I grew up in. Why did you go to such great lengths to fabricate lies to deceive me?" Cheng Haoyu asked seriously.
