Chapter 65 If you don’t tell me, I’ll kill you

Chapter 65 If you don’t tell me, I’ll kill you

Xue asked hurriedly: "What are you doing?"

Su Nuan pointed forward and said, "Treat the wounded."

Xue nodded, "I'll go with you."

"Okay." Su Nuan nodded.

The two men walked forward with bags of herbs, and treated all the wounded they encountered equally, whether they were exiled prisoners or soldiers.

Someone asked timidly, "I didn't kill the bandit, but I hugged him and the soldiers killed him. Can I get half the rabbit?"

Su Nuan looked over and saw a young man of about eighteen or nineteen, tall but very shy. She didn't know how much courage he mustered to speak.

Xue looked at Su Nuan and whispered, "There aren't that many rabbits."

Su Nuan smiled and said, "Mom, don't worry."

She raised her voice, "I saw everyone who helped today. Each person is entitled to five pounds of meat. You can collect it all at once or in batches."

Before everyone could cheer, Su Nuan said coldly, "I also know who didn't participate. If you want to get something from me, then consider how many lives you have."

Everyone shrank their necks, but those who actually participated in the battle stood up straight with a look of pride on their faces.

Seeing that her words had a deterrent effect, Su Nuan continued to treat the wounded.

Cheng Feng was also injured. His arm was cut twice and the wound was very deep, but he didn't even frown. He is really a tough guy.

Su Nuan checked the wound and sewed it up.

Cheng Feng seemed to be worried about something and asked, "Sister, do you think we should hurry on and continue our journey or rest here?"

Su Nuan was stunned for a moment, and after thinking carefully, she said, "Hurry up, the injured should get in the car, and we should leave this area as soon as possible."

"I remember there was a place on the map with cliffs on both sides. It was a mile long. We rested there."

"Even if bandits come from either end, we can deal with them in advance."

Cheng Feng nodded, "Okay, I'll do as you say."

Su Nuan glanced sideways. This guy was actually willing to listen to her. He must have thought of a solution a long time ago, but just wanted to find someone to ask for confirmation.

After Su Nuan bandaged the wounded, the team set off.

Su Nuan discovered that no one died. There were a few seriously injured, but they all survived with her around.

This was much better than the tragedy of her previous life, and Su Nuan's heart inexplicably calmed down.

Maybe I haven't felt safe since I started on the road. I've been worried about encountering bandits. Now I feel relieved after fighting off a wave.

Su Nuan said, "Mom, let's go to the mountain and take a look."

Xue handed her the bow and the quiver full of arrows, "Here."

Su Nuan was stunned, "This..." This is against the rules.

Cheng Feng saw it and said, "Take it. I'm going to gather all the young and strong people here and give each of them a knife."

"This is just the first wave of bandits. The further north you go, the more bandits there are. If you want to reach your destination alive, you must learn to protect yourself."

Su Nuan nodded. "That's a good idea. I'll go to the mountain first to see if there's any prey."

Cheng Feng said worriedly, "What if there are still bandits?"

Su Nuan smiled and said, "Don't worry, I have it."

Xiaobai has been in a coma since he came out of the space. He just woke up now and was unable to participate in hunting down the bandits.

Su Nuan didn't blame it. Since it could protect itself, it shouldn't reveal Xiaobai's trump card.

She walked forward carrying the dazed Xiaobai.

The mountains on both sides here are covered with dense forests, tall trees, and full of wildness.

Su Nuan sighed, "There must be large wild beasts in a forest like this. Can you please wake up a little?"

She wanted to rub Xiaobai's head, but gave up when she thought of her hands covered in blood.

In the end, she took Xiaobai back and released Yunyue.

"Yunyue, see if there are any wild boars."

Yunyue sniffed the air and ran in one direction with Su Nuan.

There were quite a few wild boars on the mountain. Su Nuan shot and wounded one, and while chasing it, he discovered a hidden cave.

There are people guarding the entrance to the cave.

She hid herself, wanting to hear what the two were talking about.

A said, "It's over. All the people the Third Master brought with him are dead. He's a tough nut to crack."

B said, "Second in command is taking her time. I think she's been wanting to kill Third in command for a long time. Is this intentional?"

A said, "Impossible. The Third Master asked for it himself, and the Second Master even tried to stop him."

B said, "Yeah, forget it, let him die. He doesn't like the second in command anyway. The two of them are fighting like black-eyed chickens."

Person A said, "That's right. We are the ones who are unlucky in the end."

A paused and whispered, "The boss doesn't seem angry. I really don't understand if my brothers' lives are worth anything to them."

B sighed and said nothing.

Su Nuan threw the drug out, and the two men soon fell unconscious.

Su Nuan lit the smoke at the entrance of the cave and blew it inside with a fan.

After waiting for a quarter of an hour, she groped her way into the cave.

There are torches at regular intervals here, so the place is very open.

There was no one in the cave, but there were several geese, all of which were now asleep, probably to sound the alarm.

Su Nuan put the goose into the space and kept it to lay eggs. If it didn’t lay eggs, she would put it in the pot.

She came into the cave and found that there were several forks. She lowered her head to check and found the path that was most traveled.

When we got deep inside, we heard laughter before we saw anyone.

"Oh, the first boss is so powerful, the third boss can't come back."

A half-serious, half-serious voice said, "It's not that I'm strong, it's that he's seeking death."

Su Nuan started releasing smoke when she heard the sound. How could the bandits be good people? She just wanted to knock them down first.

Soon there was no movement inside.

Su Nuan walked in and saw more than a dozen people lying in a mess, each man holding a half-naked woman in his arms.

There was even a woman who was tortured to death lying nearby, her eyes wide open.

Su Nuan was furious. She piled the firewood she had brought from the village in the cave and started a fire.

As the flames burned, she realized she had made a mistake.

"Oops, I forgot to catch someone to ask where the treasure cave is."

When she left, she saw the two guards at the gate and said, "Fortunately, there are two survivors."

She entered the space and disguised herself, becoming a short, dark-skinned middle-aged man.

Su Nuan detoxified the short and fat man, then patted her face and asked, "Hey, what's your name?"

The man said dazedly, "My name is Erpang."

Su Nuan suppressed her laughter and asked, "Er Pang, where is the treasure cave?"

Erpang shuddered, his eyes widened as he asked, "Who are you?"

Su Nuan held a kitchen knife to his neck and asked in a low voice, "Tell me, or I'll kill you, and then I'll ask him."

Erpang glanced at the unconscious man and gritted his teeth before saying, "Not far to the right."

"Take me there." Su Nuan grabbed Erpang's collar and pulled him up.

Er Pang walked forward tremblingly. He was probably afraid of death, so he didn't play any tricks. He pointed to the vine-covered cave and said, "It's here."

Su Nuan narrowed her eyes. So obedient? There must be an ambush in the cave.

She said coldly: "You, go in."
