Chapter 961: Move the Imperial City First
Asagiri asked in confusion, "What's going on?"
Su Nuan saw a lake below and said, "Let's go over there. We can't just keep shouting in the sky."
Chao Wu nodded and patted the white-necked crow.
The two landed by the lake. There was a large meadow there. It must be because the lake was tidal that there were no trees growing.
Su Nuan took out the house, went in to wash up, and started cooking again.
Although Chao Wu had been on the road for the past few days, he had recovered a lot thanks to Su Nuan's feeding, and he gradually became plumper. At least he didn't look like a skeleton anymore.
The meal was ready and the two of them ate and chatted.
Su Nuan took a sip of chicken soup and said comfortably, "I wonder if the pheasant here is delicious."
Asagiri was speechless. It was already this late, and Su Nuan was only thinking about eating.
Su Nuan smiled and said, "Some cities where I live now have been swallowed by black holes. I plan to dump all the cities there over here."
Asagiri paused while gnawing on the chicken leg. She didn't even have time to swallow the meat in her mouth and spat it out.
She asked anxiously, "Is it one of those cylindrical black holes that comes up from the ground?"
Su Nuan nodded, "Yes, have you seen it?"
Asagiri fell silent, as if she had suffered a heavy blow, and she let go of the chicken leg in her hand.
Su Nuan was surprised. Chaowu had been like a starving ghost during this period, but his appetite was so good that he would never spit out the meat after it entered his mouth.
She asked doubtfully, "What is it? Do you know?"
Chao Wu nodded and took out a one-inch thick laptop from the space items.
Su Nuan knew this thing, Hai Lan had used it before.
Asagiri opened his notebook, beckoned, and said, "Come here."
Su Nuan stood up and sat down next to Chao Wu.
A three-dimensional planet appeared on the laptop screen, looking not much different from the current blue planet.
But there are many black holes on this blue planet, hundreds of them, large and small.
Su Nuan looked at the black holes in amazement, raised her hand and quickly pointed at a few of them, and said, "These six appeared where we are."
Her fingers slid, "This is the seventh one, but it's currently just a black hole the size of a fist. A large black bird once appeared inside it."
"Oh right, this black hole is at the bottom of a crack. On both sides of the crack are the skeletons of large birds whose bones have turned black."
There was no surprise on Asagiri's face, but rather a bitterness tinged with despair.
Su Nuan asked in confusion, "You have such a strange expression on your face, are you trying to say that my world will be the same as yours?"
Asagiri took a deep breath and said, "Yeah, it should be."
Su Nuan touched his chin and guessed, "Those destroyed planets, are they all destroyed by this kind of black hole?"
Asagiri was startled for a moment, then nodded, "That's possible."
After saying that, she stared at Su Nuan, waiting for her to continue speaking.
However, Su Nuan stood up and returned to her previous seat, picking up the bowl to drink soup.
Asagiri felt a little anxious, as if something was about to be released but was being held back.
Su Nuan chuckled, "Eating, nothing is more important than eating."
Asagiri pursed her lips and wanted to get angry. Even though Su Nuan knew such an important matter, she was still busy eating.
But then she thought, what else could she do without eating? To plug the black hole? That was impossible.
Asagiri thought about it for a long time, and finally picked up the chicken leg again and started eating.
Su Nuan smiled and said, "Only when you're full can you have the energy to think about other things."
Chao Wu nodded without saying anything. She was now infected by Su Nuan's calmness and began to calm down.
After Su Nuan had eaten and drunk her fill, she washed herself and put some fruit on the table.
She placed the rocking chair in the open space, lay down on it and said, "Let me think about it."
Chao Wu didn't dare to disturb Su Nuan. She dragged the fruit basket over and ate silently.
But after finishing the whole basket of fruit, Su Nuan didn't say anything.
Chaowu looked at Su Nuan carefully and found that she... fell asleep.
"Eh? This damn relaxing feeling, I'm so envious!"
She thought about it, looked at Su Nuan again, and finally lay down on the sofa next to her and closed her eyes to sleep.
After an unknown amount of time, Su Nuan was awakened by the sound of a fight.
She rubbed her eyes and walked to the door. When she pushed it open, she saw a bloody mouth biting towards her. She kicked it reflexively.
"Ouch..." a scream.
Su Nuan instantly became alert and looked over there intently.
It was a pack of wolves. The fur on these wolves was red and very long. When they ran, they looked like a red cloud, which was quite beautiful.
Participating in the fight were two flying riders and Asagiri jumping on the ground.
When Chao Wu saw Su Nuan, she shouted, "Wake up and get back to work. These guys are annoying and can't be driven away even if you beat them."
Su Nuan looked at the red wolves, then looked back at the house. She raised her hand and took the house away.
When the red wolves saw the house disappear, they immediately gave up the attack and ran towards where the house was.
A large red wolf began digging a hole in the sand over there.
Soon they dug a big pit there, and there was a hole inside the pit.
The red wolf went in and took out the cubs, but the cubs were sick and listless.
Asagiri said in surprise, "Why would these wolves bury their children underground?"
"They look listless. Could it be that they've been pressed down by the house all night, causing them to lack oxygen?"
Su Nuan shook her head. "They're not lacking oxygen. They have other ways to ventilate. It just delayed their escape time, causing them to become a little dehydrated."
These red wolves did not continue to attack, so Su Nuan simply took out a bucket of milk powder, then took out a rice spoon, scooped a spoonful and took a sip.
Surprise flashed in the red wolf's originally vigilant eyes, and it stared at Su Nuan without any hostility.
Su Nuan walked over and started feeding the wolf cubs with a big spoon. Fortunately, they all licked the food.
There were sixteen little wolves in total. After drinking the milk powder, they began to jump around and play.
Those wolf cubs, who were already weak, could howl loudly, causing a commotion among the adult wolves.
The largest red wolf came to Su Nuan and sat there watching quietly.
Su Nuan said, "I didn't mean to do that. Treating them now is my apology. Do you accept it?"
Red Wolf nodded, which meant he accepted it.
Su Nuan chuckled, "Just accept it. Go and spread the word. A city will fall from the sky here. If you don't want to be hit, quickly go to another mountain."
The lake here is very big, and it is good to place the imperial city not far away. In the future, you can go boating in the lake when you leave the city.
The red wolf didn't know whether it understood or not, it just sat there motionless.
Su Nuan thought it wanted something beneficial, so she rummaged through the bracelet space and found a sack of dried meat.
"Here, this is your wages."
After a pause, she added, "If you've notified them, you don't have to worry if they don't leave on their own. Just leave."
After saying that, she poured out the dried meat from the sack.
The red wolf's eyes lit up. It moved closer to sniff the food, then began to eat with big mouthfuls. When it was full, it sat aside. The other wolves came over in an orderly manner to take a bite and then moved away.
Asagiri suddenly said in surprise: "Ah, I remember now, these wolves are not ordinary wolves."
