Chapter 110 I Only Like You
No matter how romantic the words, they can't compare to a decade of unwavering commitment.
Jiang Wan bit her lip, her eyes shining as she looked at Zhou Chong. After a moment, she stood on tiptoe and suddenly kissed his thin lips.
Uncontrollable love surged forth the moment she learned that he had secretly loved her for ten years.
Zhou Chong was taken aback, but quickly reacted. He raised his hand to hold the back of her head, lowered his head, and responded with an even deeper kiss.
The corridor was silent, and the two were completely absorbed in it.
Footsteps approached from the other end of the stairs, followed by a pause, and then a muffled sound of something falling to the ground.
Jiang Wan suddenly opened her eyes, turned around, and saw Lin Jie hurriedly picking up the bag from the ground.
She punched Zhou Chong in the chest in embarrassment and annoyance, "Your assistant is here."
Zhou Chong was forced to stop, frowning as he turned to look at him. "You got here so quickly?"
Lin Jie paused in picking up the bag, glanced up at the boss's slightly displeased expression, and then slowly walked over with the bag in hand. "Mr. Zhou, didn't you tell me to hurry up..."
Jiang Wan was amused and crawled out of Zhou Chong's arms, taking the bag from Lin Jie's hand. "Okay, President Zhou, I'll go change my clothes first."
After saying that, she turned and went into the bathroom.
Zhou Chong nodded, turning his gaze away from Jiang Wan and onto Lin Jie.
Before he could even speak, Lin Jie quickly handed over another bag of school uniforms, saying, "President Zhou, this is for you."
Zhou Chong glanced at him, took the bag, and asked, "Have the other matters been arranged as well?"
Lin Jie nodded, "Yes, everything has been set up downstairs."
Zhou Chong grunted in agreement, turned around and went into the bathroom. "Alright, you can go home now."
Lin Jie breathed a sigh of relief.
Seeing Mr. Zhou and his wife kissing in an empty school corridor was a real test of his mental fortitude as a working-class man.

After changing into her school uniform, Jiang Wan tied her long, flowing hair up in a high ponytail at the back of her head.
Standing in front of the mirror at the sink, at first glance, it felt like I was back in the days when I was studying here not long ago.
When she went out, Zhou Chong had already changed into his school uniform and was leaning against the corridor railing with his hands behind his back, waiting for her.
Aside from the maturity in his eyes, the man in the school uniform in front of me was no different from the Xiao Zhou I remembered.
Jiang Wan smiled and walked over, saying, "Hello, classmate."
Zhou Chong straightened up, raised his hand, gently touched the top of her head, then withdrew his hand, and smiled at her with a smile on his lips.
Jiang Wan suddenly felt something on her head. She raised her hand and touched it, finding a small wad of gauze in her ponytail bun.
Following the texture downwards, the fan-shaped veil draped down behind her head.
Jiang Wan suddenly realized something and quickly took out her phone to open the selfie camera.
The image of herself on the screen is of a high school student, wearing a school uniform and a ponytail, but with a light, pure white veil on her head.
"Where did you come from?" Jiang Wan looked up at Zhou Chong in surprise.
"I had Lin Jie bring it over just now." Zhou Chong took her hand. "Isn't today our wedding anniversary?"
Jiang Wan's eyes welled up with tears, and she squeezed his hand back tightly. "Yes, happy third wedding anniversary."
Zhou Chong smiled gently and led her towards the stairs. "Let's go upstairs and take another look."
There are now plenty of classrooms available. The fourth floor of the old teaching building has been vacated and will no longer be used as classrooms for senior high school students.
After walking along the empty corridor for a long time, passing the former classroom of Class 1, Senior 3, Jiang Wan stopped and pulled Zhou Chong inside.
The once crowded desks and chairs have all been moved out, and the huge, empty classroom is so spacious that you can hear the echo with every step you take.
“Do you know?” Jiang Wan stood at the back door of the classroom and said to Zhou Chong, “The morning I first traveled back in time, I almost couldn’t find my classroom. I ran into Qi Ming downstairs and asked him for directions before I found out that our class was here.”
Jiang Wan took a few more steps forward and pointed to the spot by the window. "Back then, you were sitting right there. I was standing by the back door, and when I saw you, I was startled. My heart was pounding."
As she spoke, Jiang Wan subconsciously turned to look at the people beside her, only to find that Zhou Chong had not followed.
Turning around, she realized that Zhou Chong was standing behind her, his eyes lowered, his thin lips pressed tightly together, looking at her with an inscrutable expression.
"What's wrong?" Jiang Wan walked up to him, spread her fingers, and waved her hand in front of him. "What are you thinking about?"
Zhou Chong pursed his lips somewhat awkwardly, "After you went back to school, the first person you saw was Qi Ming?"
“Yes.” Jiang Wan nodded. “At first, I didn’t remember who he was at all. After asking for directions, he told me that we were classmates in the first year of high school, so that’s how I got to know him.”
Upon hearing this, Zhou Chong's stiff expression softened slightly.
Jiang Wan noticed the change in his expression, and as if just realizing it, she exclaimed "Oh!" in sudden understanding.
It trailed off with a long, drawn-out tone.
"Seriously, Zhou Chong? You're even jealous of this kind of thing?" Jiang Wan chuckled and poked his chest.
Zhou Chong pursed his lips and remained silent, his eyes darting away.
"Speaking of which," Jiang Wan suddenly remembered something, "when did you travel back in time?"
Zhou Chong thought for a moment and gave an exact date, "The day I went back was December 5, 2013."
"In the morning?"
"Um."
“That’s the same day as me.” Jiang Wan nodded thoughtfully, then chuckled.
Zhou Chong was stunned, not understanding what she was laughing at.
"So, one time later, I went to Teacher Yang's office to pick up an English newspaper, and Qi Ming helped me carry it back. You saw me at the back door of the classroom, do you remember?"
Zhou Chong gave a lukewarm "hmm".
"Back then, you were secretly jealous, weren't you?" Jiang Wan smiled and leaned closer to Zhou Chong. "You're so petty. You get jealous just because I talk to other guys a few times."
Zhou Chong lowered his eyes. Jiang Wan, standing in front of him, tilted her head and looked up at him, the veil hanging down her side.
The setting sun shone through the window behind her, piercing the thin gauze and casting a soft golden light on her face.
Gentle and lovely, she makes you want to pull her into your arms.
He thought it that way, and he did it that way.
He cupped the back of her head with his large hand, pulling her tightly into his embrace, his chin resting on the top of her head, his voice muffled as he spoke.
"It's because so many people like you, I can't help but feel jealous."
Jiang Wan was slightly taken aback, then raised her hands and wrapped them around Zhou Chong's waist. "But I only like you."
Zhou Chong was taken aback. He smelled the faint fragrance of her hair and tightened his arms, holding Jiang Wan even closer in his embrace.
Jiang Wan turned her face to the side, pressed it against his chest, and quietly felt the warmth of the man's body.
A breeze blew through the window, carrying the distant sound of the school bell signaling the end of get out of class.
The same melody played ten years ago. Jiang Wan suddenly thought of a question, "Speaking of which, we both traveled back to the same place on the same day. Why didn't you regress at all during the mock exam? Did you remember your high school knowledge so well?"
Zhou Chong was taken aback, seemingly not expecting Jiang Wan to suddenly bring up this matter.
"I've also regressed a bit; my total score is lower than before."
"It's just a few points, but you're still number one in the grade."
Jiang Wan, nestled in his arms, sounded somewhat resentful. Zhou Chong lowered his head and rubbed her face. "You're back now, and you still want to compare grades with me?"
"No, I'm just curious." Jiang Wan pursed her lips, tilted her head up, and asked seriously.
“Maybe…” Zhou Chong raised an eyebrow, “I really am a genius?”
"Get out of here—" Jiang Wan punched him in the chest in frustration.
Zhou Chong chuckled and hugged her tighter again, "I won't leave."
