Chapter 26 Do you have someone you like?

Chapter 26 Do you have someone you like?

Jiang Wan often wondered if Zhou Chong would have ended up with Chen Yuewei if it weren't for her.

After all, when she stopped Zhou Chong after the class reunion, Chen Yuewei was standing right next to her, staring at her intently.

That look in his eyes clearly showed that he regarded her as a rival in love.

Perhaps, without her interference, Chen Yuewei would have remained in love with Zhou Chongyu, just as her old classmates said.

As for whether this lingering affection was one-sided or mutual, she had no way of knowing.

Later, when the two held their wedding, they invited many of their high school classmates to attend, but Chen Yuewei did not come.

Of course, Jiang Wan didn't care at the time.

He's just an insignificant high school classmate; come if you want, don't come if you don't.

Anyway, that wedding was just for show, to impress outsiders. As long as the elders were happy, it didn't matter what other people thought.

But now, back in high school, looking at Chen Yuewei sitting next to Zhou Chong, the bittersweet emotions in her heart swelled to an immense degree.

Yes, everyone knows that Chen Yuewei has liked Zhou Chong since high school.

What about now?

Did Zhou Chong himself know about this?

If he knew, what would his thoughts be about Chen Yuewei?

Jiang Wan suddenly realized that after her rebirth, she was determined to win Zhou Chong's heart, but she forgot to confirm one thing first.

That is, does Zhou Chong have someone he likes?

"Hey, Jiang Shengming, someone in the class is sitting in someone else's seat without permission, aren't you going to do anything about it?" Sun Qianyu deliberately raised her voice, angrily speaking up for her best friend.

"Well... I can't control that either." Jiang Shengming forced a smile and glanced awkwardly at Jiang Wan. "It's lunch break now, not a study session. There's no rule that you have to sit in your seat."

“You…” Sun Qian’s tone was agitated, but after stammering “you” for a long time, she couldn’t come up with any rebuttal.

“Jiang Shengming is right.” Jiang Wan gave Sun Qianyu a reassuring look. “It’s okay, I’ll go take a look.”

Seemingly having heard Sun Qianyu's loud voice, Chen Yuewei spotted her as soon as she walked to the side of the corridor.

"Oh, Jiang Wan, you're back." Chen Yuewei looked up. "I have a few questions I don't understand and I wanted to ask Zhou Chong. I'd like to sit in your seat for a bit. You don't mind, do you?"

Jiang Wan gripped the plastic bag she was carrying tightly, glanced at the back of Zhou Chong's head, and said, "I mind."

Seemingly not expecting Jiang Wan to say that, Chen Yuewei was stunned for a moment, and the smile on her face froze.

"I've already said I mind, why are you still sitting there and won't get up?"

Jiang Wan had little patience for her. Her shy, smiling face was infuriating to look at, just like the smile she had at her class reunion in her previous life.

When the princess loses her temper, most people don't dare to provoke her. Hearing her say this, Chen Yuewei immediately stood up. "No... I'm sorry, please sit down."

She picked up the test papers and notebooks and stumbled two steps away.

Seeing this, Li Yang, who was sitting in the seat in front of Zhou Chong, said, "Chen Yuewei, why don't you sit here? Weren't you still explaining that question?"

Jiang Wan hadn't even returned to her seat when she heard his words. She paused, turned around, and looked at him with annoyance.

Of course, they weren't looking at Li Yang, but at Zhou Chong.

Zhou Chong raised his head and glanced at Li Yang indifferently. "No need, I'm done."

Chen Yuewei was about to say "thank you" to Li Yang when Zhou Chong's words stopped her in her tracks.

Holding the test paper in her arms, she turned to look at Zhou Chong, biting her lip, "But I still don't understand how to derive the formula for that question."

Zhou Chong didn't even look up, just twirled the pen in his hand. "I have no obligation to help you with the problem. Figure out the derivation process yourself."

The tone was cold, yet accompanied by a few crisp tinkling sounds.

Jiang Wan wondered if she had misheard. Upon closer inspection, she realized that the pen Zhou Chong was twirling in his hand was the cherry blossom pink bunny pen she had given him.

As he twirled the pen, the little rabbit hanging from the cap spun around nimbly, occasionally bumping into the pen casing and making a crisp sound.

For some reason, the feeling of unease in her heart suddenly dissipated.

Like an inflated balloon that was suddenly poked by a little rabbit, it burst instantly, and the balloon fragments floated softly back to the ground.

Jiang Wan really didn't want to laugh in front of others, but she was really about to burst out laughing.

She pursed her lips and cleared her throat. "That's how Zhou Chong explains problems. His study time is very precious, so he doesn't have time to teach you how to do it step by step. It's good enough if he can give you some pointers on the ideas and formulas."

Nonsense, that's not true at all. When Zhou Chong taught her physics problems, he explained them in great detail.

Jiang Wan muttered to herself as she watched Chen Yuewei leave.

Once everyone had left, she sat back down, her gaze lingering on the pen in Zhou Chong's hand.

"You used this pen when you were explaining the problem to Chen Yuewei?"

"Hmm." Zhou Chong paused for a moment. "Is that not allowed?"

That's really great.

"No." Jiang Wan pursed her lips and asked again, "Then she didn't ask you where this pen came from?"

Zhou Chong paused, then said, "I asked."

"What did you say?"

"You gave it to me."

After going back and forth, Jiang Wan finally couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Zhou Chong was puzzled by her laughter and turned to look at her.

Jiang Wan smiled and reached out to fiddle with the little rabbit on the pen. "Then how about you use this pen to explain problems to others from now on?"

Zhou Chong lowered his head, glanced at the pen in his hand, and at the pale fingers fiddling with the pen cap. "What do we do when the ink runs out?"

“I’ll change the ink for you when it’s out of ink,” Jiang Wan said matter-of-factly. “I can also buy you a few more of the same model. Oh, wait, this pen was brought back for me by my mom from abroad. It’s not easy to find, so I can only change the ink.”

Zhou Chong seemed lost in thought for a moment, then gave a soft "hmm".

Although Jiang Wan's mood was soothed by the little rabbit, she didn't forget her business.

She flicked the little rabbit a couple of times, and as she withdrew her hand, she beckoned to Zhou Chong with her finger, "Come here a little, I have something to ask you."

"What?" Zhou Chong turned his head, puzzled, and moved a little closer to Jiang Wan, but he didn't dare to get too close.

Jiang Wan lowered her head, crouched down, her upper body leaning on the table, her head almost touching her arm, and asked in a voice so soft it was almost a whisper:

Do you have someone you like?
