Chapter 184 That Place

Qiao Xi looked at him with a firm gaze and said, word by word, "'Tian Sha Men' is an organization that we all know. You can imagine how many people's blood is on its hands."

“I couldn’t bring myself to do it, and I didn’t want to get my hands dirty, so I had to use that method to make him pay for what he did.”

"I understand." Qi Jincheng had already made her feelings clear.

Another hour passed, and the phone rang.

The phone was originally in Wen Shaoqing's hands. He knew it was Qiao Xi's friend calling and wanted to answer the phone himself, but he was afraid that the other party wouldn't tell him.

After thinking it over, he still went to Qiao Xi's room and gave her the phone.

“Daughter, your friend called,” Wen Shaoqing told her.

Qiao Xi immediately dialed back, and Jun Jiuge gave her an address over the phone.

After putting down her phone, Qiao Xi said to Wen Shaoqing, "Let's go."

"Now?" Wen Shaoqing sensed that she was getting a little anxious.

Qiao Xi sneered, "You still want to go during the day?"

"Of course not." Wen Shaoqing immediately understood what she meant.

But he's not stupid; he won't believe her so easily.

"But Dad is a little worried about going like this."

"So what do you want?" Qiao Xi asked warily.

Wen Shaoqing looked at Qi Jincheng and said, "Let my son-in-law stay."

"No way." Qiao Xi refused decisively.

Wen Shaoqing said with a smile, "Wouldn't it be better to let him wait here for us to come back?"

Qi Jincheng knew his intention and looked at Qiao Xi, saying, "Xi'er, you two go ahead."

"I don't want to be separated from you." Qiao Xi understood Qi Jincheng's thoughts.

She wanted Wen Shaoqing to receive the punishment she deserved, but certainly not at the cost of the person she loved most.

Wen Shaoqing comforted her, saying, "At the latest, we'll be back by tomorrow morning. You won't be separated for too long."

"I'll wait for you," Qi Jincheng said to her with a smile.

Qiao Xi couldn't agree, but there was no better solution at the moment.

Wen Shaoqing then instructed the masked man, "You stay here and wait for my news."

"Hmm," the masked man replied curtly.

Qiao Xi didn't give them the address directly, but instead pointed out the way to them as they walked.

She never believed Wen Shaoqing, nor could she ever believe him.

What father-daughter relationship? In her opinion, this kind of person doesn't even have a heart, so what feelings could he possibly have?

Following the directions Qiao Xi gave them, it took them almost a whole night to get to that place.

As dawn broke, Jun Jiuge and Yan Luoheng waited for them outside a cave.

After getting out of the car, Qiao Xi came to Jun Jiuge's side, "Ninth Master".

Wen Shaoqing didn't stop her. He relied on the fact that he had brought his own men, and everything was under his control.

Jun Jiuge noticed that Qiao Xi was alone and couldn't help but ask in a low voice, "Where is Qi Jincheng?"

"Still at Biying Manor."

"Where is the thing?" Wen Shao asked.

“Inside,” Jun Jiuge gestured to him.

Wen Shaoqing was somewhat skeptical, but Jun Jiuge added, "There's an address on the back of the photo; this is it."

As she spoke, she also took out photos.

Before Qiao Xi could even glance at it, Wen Shaoqing snatched it away impatiently.

After confirming, Wen Shaoqing knew that the location was correct.

The area was deserted, and he couldn't help but remark, "They actually hid the stuff in this place; it's really well-hidden."

"Let's go in and take a look."

Seeing that he was about to lead people inside, Qiao Xi and the others remained unmoved.

Wen Shaoqing invited them, "Aren't you going in together?"
