Yan Changfeng said coldly, "I was just saying that to the Queen."
"You go and send a few false intelligence reports from the front lines, deliberately spreading the false news that Dongling is launching an attack on Nanli to the Queen's ears."
Helian Qi then understood Yan Changfeng's purpose in doing all this. "Your Majesty, is this your self-inflicted injury ruse?"
Yan Changfeng glanced at Helian Qi, then looked down at his own wound. "It was a ruse, but also a display of true feelings."
He was willing to give his life for Jiang Wan Ning, which is why he actually stabbed her with that sword just now.
