Meng Yan didn't listen to what Pei Zhao was saying at all, taking it as him trying to clear Ming Yao's name.
Before she could even utter the words "sister-in-law," Meng Yan grabbed Pei Zhao's arm and cried out.
Her wailing cries were incredibly shrill, like the sound of glass.
The noise from the reporters and the company suddenly stopped, and countless eyes fell on Meng Yan, who was wailing loudly.
Meng Yan cried out in tears, "Is there no justice left?!"
"A mistress brazenly seduced my son, and you even want to ruin him!"
"Today I'm going to teach you a lesson and show you what propriety, righteousness, integrity, and a sense of shame really mean!"
Meng Yan raised her hand, intending to slap Ming Yao's face.
However, her hand did not fall, but remained suspended in mid-air, neither up nor down.
Meng Yan froze, turning around in astonishment.
Pei Siyu looked at her with a gloomy expression, gradually increasing the pressure on his hands, and asked, word by word, "Madam Meng, what are you doing?"
Meng Yan snapped out of her daze and retorted sarcastically, "Pei Siyu, are these your company's employees?"
"Shameless! They have no moral bottom line!"

Meng Yan had always disliked Pei Siyu and would seize any opportunity to mock her.
Pei Zhao rushed forward and covered Meng Yan's mouth, saying incredulously, "Mom, are you crazy?"
Meng Yan shoved Pei Zhao away and screamed hysterically, "I'm not crazy!"
"Look what you've learned at the branch office!"
The reporters and their colleagues once again focused their attention on Pei Siyu's stern face, not daring to breathe.
